Om Puri to host Aahat on Sony?

After hosting Crime Patrol and Savdhan India, National Film Award winning actor Om Puri is all set to make a comeback on small screen.

Yes, the veteran actor, as per sources, will soon be seen anchoring Sony TV’s horror episodic Aahat (Fireworks Productions).

A source shared, “After turning a bi weekly series Aahat will now present a new format to the audience, wherein fresh episodes will be aired on Monday and Tuesday, while on Wednesday and
Thursday viewers will witness the repeat telecast of previous episodes. And Om Puri will be seen hosting the re-aired episodes, which will undergo a bit of editorial changes.”

Our source also added that talks are on with the seasoned actor and in all probabilities shoot with Om Puri will start soon. And the new format will air by the end of this month.

We tried reaching Om Puri but he remained unavailable. Our efforts to reach channel spokesperson proved futile.

‘Heartbroken’ Neil to prepare for Sam-Arjun’s engagement in Manmarziyan

The tale of friendship and love Manmarziyan (Swastik Productions) on Star Plus has been churning out some major twists and turns.

As seen so far, Arjun (Ahem Sharma) managed to convince Samaira (Kashmira Irani) and her family for marriage. And with Samrat (Mohan Kapoor) all set to go abroad, he decided to get them engaged soon.

Shared a source, “This development had come as a shocker to Neil (Shravan Reddy) who loves Samaira. But he will let go his grief and indulge in making the day special for his best friend by organising this surprise.”

With Radhika (Monica Sehgal) missing from the scene trying to find more about Arjun’s reality, Neil will take over and help organise the engagement ceremony with full gusto.

Neil will be seen commanding his colleagues and making them toil to decorate the place beautifully. 

The entire sequence will be a hilarious one and will leave viewers in splits.

When we spoke to Shravan he said, “Neil is a guy with a heart of gold. Though he is completely broken he will make sure that his best friend is happy. Shooting for the particular sequence was super fun as we had the entire team together. It will be an enjoyable watch for all.”

Viewers of Life OK’s drama Kalash (Balaji Telefilms) must have been bored with the show’s repeated track, where Devika (Aparna Dixit) gets into trouble caused by Nivi (Seema Mishra) and Ravi (Krrip Suri) appears every time at her rescue.

This time the makers, we hear, are planning to do something new and a bit realistic for the audience.

Before getting into the details let us share with you all that this time as well, Nivi will try to harm Devika. Unfortunately, her plan will backfire on her when the house will catch fire with Nivi and Devika, both being present at the venue together.

Our source adds, “For the first time the group, who is responsible for saving human life will arrive at spot in our daily soaps. Yes, an onlooker will inform the fire brigade, who will come to rescue Devika and Nivi. What will be even more interesting is the fact that even after developing enmity towards Nivi, Devika will not leave her alone inside the house, rather she will continue to plead the rescue team to save Nivi.”
