Alliance: Dollyy Javed opens up about painful childhood, alleges father abused and abandoned the family
Reality
show Alliance witnessed an emotional moment as Dollyy Javed opened up
about the painful experiences she endured during her childhood. During a
heartfelt conversation with fellow contestant Niti Taylor, Dollyy spoke
about her father’s alleged abusive behaviour and how it affected her
family for years.
Recalling her childhood, Dollyy said, “My father mentally tortured me a lot. He was abusive and rude towards everyone in the house since my childhood. My mother tolerated everything because we came from a small town, and she got married when she was just 17 or 18. By the age of 26, she had all five of us.”
She further revealed that her father would frequently leave home for long periods, only to return and fight with her mother over trivial matters.
“When I was in the fifth grade, my father started leaving home. He would disappear for a month and then come back, constantly fighting with my mother over the most absurd reasons. He even told our relatives and people in society that my mother and my sisters were prostitutes. He used such disgusting and abusive words that I still can’t believe someone could say such things about their own wife and daughters things I wouldn’t even say about a stranger. Then one day, we found out that he had married someone else, and later, he got married again,” she said.
Speaking about how those incidents shaped her, Dollyy admitted that she struggled with anger for a long time before gradually letting go of her hatred.
“For a long time, whenever there was any fight at home, I used to think that if he hadn’t done all this, none of it would have happened. As I grew older, I hated him, but with time I stopped hating him.”
She added that despite moving on, one question continues to haunt her. “Even today, one question stays with me: how can a father do this to his own family? More than that, how can any human being do something like this? I still don’t have an answer,” Dollyy said.
