Sangeeta Kapure turns dancer Sugandha for Life OK's Savitri!
The dusky beauty Sangeeta Kapure is on cloud seven these days. As after bagging a vital role of Manthra in Life OK’s Devon Ke Dev Mahadev, she has again cracked the deal and signed important role in Life OK’s science fiction show Savitri, which is being produced by Flying Turtle Films.
She has been roped to play a very beautiful role of a classical dancer Sugandha. The Mantri aka Raj Arjun is head-over-heels in love with the dancer. Sugandha is a close friend of the Maharani (Utkarsha Naik) and feels that she has everything in her to become the Queen. She uses Chandal Singh to fulfill her desires.
Earlier Parul Chauhan of Bidaai fame had been approached to essay Sugandha’s character. Sangeeta Kapure confirmed the news and said, “Yes, I will be playing the role of Sugandha. I start shoot for Savitri from today. Also my shooting for Mahadev starts from tomorrow. So I am looking forward to an interesting journey with Life OK.”
Life OK's Savitri successfully completed 100 episodes!
Amid all the preparations of its revamp, the team of Life OK’s science-fiction daily Savitri has briefly celebrated its 100 episodes completion on July 4. It is about to revamp as the show get back a thousand years into the past and it commences from this very day. The entire team is elated on the success and ensured their fans to bring more captivating track in future.
Resshmi Ghosh, who plays the evil Gulika in the show said, “Now the story line is being changed and we will go back a 1,000 years. It is going to be really interesting. Earlier, the show did not work that well. But this time we are trying something else, which will draw more audience attention."
Krip Suri, who plays Rahukaal was also ecstatic. He said, "I am looking forward to complete another 100 episodes. This character has given me a lot of popularity. We start shooting from the new track from tomorrow, so we are just celebrating my wishing everyone through messages."
While on the other side its lead, Yash Pandit aka Satya, who is taking exit from the show said, “I am very excited and happy that we have completed 100 episodes. Though I am no more a part of it, I hope it’s a successful and long running show. The story has been presented very well.”
Salil Ankola who narrates the father of Princess Damayanti is also elated on the success. He expressed, “It is indeed a great feeling. I am glad that the serial is going back into the past as it will add to it a nice element of the yesteryears which I feel will be a welcome change for the viewers.”
