Time for some action packed drama in Aakash Aath’s Run Ronny Run!

Well, as per a source, in the coming episodes, it will be seen that while going to the police station to lodge an F.I.R. (First Information Report), Sanjay (Priyam) will come across Malay.

Next, while returning from the police station, the latter will be shot right in front of the former. And it would be Sanjay who will take Malay to the hospital.

On the other hand, Rony (Shreyosree Roy) will begin practicing in order to participate in the forthcoming athletic event.

Now, the story will take a turn when Sanjay will place a condition in front of Rony.

To make sure that Rony concentrates on her sport, he will plan to keep her away from his son. So he will ask her that she will have to choose one: either Rishav (Anwesh Bhattacharya) or sport.

What Rony will do now? She will choose her love or sport?

We often witness celebrities supporting certain events that promote a lot of things like health awareness. But recently, some of our favourite TV stars are promoting a hatke sport.

Yes, the actresses are kicked about the Aadhi Aabadi Volleyball Cup, a new sports league which will commence this May.

TV actress Pooja Gor, popularly known as Pratigya, is a part of the organising committee and seems pretty enthusiastic about the new venture. Talking exclusively to Tellychakkar.com, she shared, “I was already associated with them as I am a part of the committee. The aim behind this initiative is to make an effort to invite female athletes, as volleybal is not very popular. So, this is a way of setting up a strong platform for women in sports and boosting their fitness at large,” she says.

The Volleyball Cup has a total of eight teams: Bengal Tigress, Bihar Challengers, Chennai Queens, Delhi Panthers, Haryana Strikers, Maratha Warriors, Uttarakhand Smashers and UP Thunders. The leagues’ first match is going to take place in Bengaluru between Haryana Strikers and UP Thunders on 27 May 2017. This league is founded by Mr. Dinesh Kumar Singh and the President is none other than Raju Kher.

Some of the other TV actresses who are also part of the Aadhi Aabadi Volleyball Cup include Resha Konkar, Lavina Tandon and Hritu Dudani among more.

Resha on her part added, “I am very happy to be the goodwill ambassador for it. I am representing the Haryana Strikers. My co-star Hritu Dudani is representing Uttarakhand Smashers. We will be playing the first match of the league in Delhi. I have to start training for it a week before the match. Since I am not into any sports except badminton, it's a completely new venture for me. Really excited for the same.”

We surely love the spirit of these actresses to motivate girls to go ahead in sports.

Sunil Grover-Ali Asgar in a new Sony TV show

All you lovely readers, are you missing Dr Mashoor Gulati?

The star of The Kapil Sharma Show (K9 and Frames Productions), Sunil Grover aka Dr Gulati, had gone missing, after his fallout with the man himself, Kapil Sharma.

As you all would know, Kapil apparently had a major tiff with Sunil on a trip to Australia. He had reportedly blown abuses and also flung his shoe on him, leading Sunil to not just walk out of the project but also Kapil's life.

Post a series of tweets, and other debacles, the two are currently not in talking terms, and seems like a reunion is quite a far fetched option. The channel (Sony Entertainment Television) has been trying hard to bring them together but all in vain.

Also, in a protest against Kapil’s highhandedness, Ali Asgar, Chandan Prabhakar and Sugandha Mishra had also quit the show.

There have been talks about Sunil launching his own venture with Sony TV along with Ali and Chandan, but there has been no confirmation on the same.

But fret not, for Sunil and Ali are set to create their magic on another show. As part of an act, Sunil and Ali will play Dr Mashoor Gulati and his nurse Laila respectively, in a special episode on Sabse Bada Kalakaar (Frames).

Yesterday (18 April), the actors shot for the sequence and the episode will air on 6 May.

Yes, one of the family members will catch Dai Maa with some dolls (voodoo) and eventually, she will be blamed for doing black magic on Chirag through those.

In the coming episodes, Geetanjali (Surbhi Jyoti) will get a clue behind Abhimanyu’s (Shoaib Ibrahim) murder. She will follow the trail only to find some really shocking secrets about Kavya (Sreejita De), Ratna (Nivedita Bhattacharya) and Rishabh (Sharad Kelkar).

And before she will be able to comprehend the same, she will be attacked by Ratna.

OMG!

Yes, Ratna, the loving choti maa of Geetanjali will shockingly try to kill Geetanjali but Priyam will manage to save her.

Not deterred by the same, Geetanjlai, in order to expose people around her will announce that she will arrange Chanda’s (Ekroop Bedi) marriage. Knowing well that her husband Radheshyam is into hiding in her family’s order, she will try to lure him to come out in public.

Star Plus's Amitabh Bachchan show 2017 - 'Kya Qusoor Hai Amala Ka?'

India is finally waking up to the conversation on heinous crimes of sexual assault against women.
Amitabh Bachchan in Star Plus’ latest campaign on ‘Victim Shaming’ urges families, authority figures and citizens to reflect upon the need to break the tolerance towards how victims of sexual assault are treated. Society has failed these victims by stripping them off their dignity through incessant interrogation about the horrific incident by authority figures and merciless character assassinations shaming her instead of the perpetrators.

In a Public Service Awareness Initiative by Star Plus, Amitabh Bachchan questions these culprits of the character assassination with one pertinent question “Who’s fault is it?”. The campaign advocates that society needs to place the guilt rightfully with the perpetrators by putting them on trial instead of shaming the victims.

Big B says, “The idea that a woman loses her dignity if she is sexually assaulted is instilled strongly in our cultural mindset. The shame should be on the perpetrators instead of the victim. We need to foster a safe, secure and supportive environment where victims can seek refuge especially from those who they turn to for protection like Authority Figures, Family and Society. There is a strong need to step forward and talk about this through stories which can trigger this change in mindset of the people. ‘Kya Qusoor Hai Amala Ka’ is an effort by Star Plus in the same direction.”

Sony TV’s Yeh Moh Moh Ke Dhaage

Television is just growing bigger with time and always in race to treat its viewers with the cinematic visual treats.

The Rann of Kutch in Gujarat has been one of the most favorite destinations for Bollywood. The Rann of Kutch is indeed a beautiful location with white sands spread all over.

Recently, Sony TV’s newly launched series Yeh Moh Moh Ke Dhaage (produced by Saba Mumtaz and Rahul Kumar Tewary) shot for few scenes at the Rann of Kutch.

The story of the show which revolves around 42 years old Mukhi (Eijaz Khan) who is a village headman and 22 years old Aru (Niyati Fatnani) who is bubbly modern girl, has been shot extensively at the Rann of Kutch, where the temperature is at its peak but it did not affect Eijaz Khan in any way.
Eijaz gave his best performance in the scorching heat and the actor even bonded well with the camels he was shooting along with.

A source from the set said, “One wouldn’t say for a second that Eijaz was not a local, the way he managed to work with the camels. He learned camel riding in fifteen minutes flat and he was also very concerned about the camels’ well being and not allowing anybody to hit it. He got so comfortable with the camel that he easily make the camel sit and stand. He even took the camel for a walk. He even calmed the animal when it got restless due to the loud voices around it.”

That’s interesting. Isn’t it? Keep up the good work Eijaz.

Life OK's Ghulaam

Actor Param Singh says he prefers to focus more on his professional life, and so he is not active on social media.

Param is only on Twitter -- that too for promoting his show "Ghulaam".

"There is a line between professional and personal life. I like to concentrate more on my work and through my work build my fan base, rather than having a fan base for the selfies I put up. So, I am not on Facebook, Instagram or Whatsapp."

"I am on Twitter largely to talk about my show and my character and nothing more," Param said in a statement.

"Each morning, I look forward to putting on my make-up, rehearsing my lines and getting in front of the camera. I am obsessed about acting and all I want to do is act," he added.

The actress, was supposed to make her comeback with Jaana Na Dil Se Door (Star Plus) but the deal fell flat. Nausheen finally got back to work with Gangaa (&TV) where she played an important cameo.

But fate had planned something really big for Nausheen, as she is in the final contention to bag the plump role in the Colors’ project.

Shared a source, “The character Nausheen is being considered for is a very powerful one. She would have founded the hospital and college to build a better society with the best of doctors. She will be an independent, hard working woman who would go on to show numerous shades in the run.”

The makers and channel, as per sources, has finalized the actress, and the financials are currently being worked upon. Both the parties are quite kicked about the association and Nausheen should sign the contract soon.

Sony TV’s Porus

Historical drama show "Porus", which aims to depict the story of Greek conqueror Alexander and Indian defender Porus, will make detractors of television content sit up and take notice of the new benchmarks it will set, says the show's lead actor Laksh Lalwani.
Set in 350 BC, "Porus" is being shot at a lavish set in Umbergaon, Gujarat.
A dekko at its characters gives a sense of the attention to detail that has gone into the costumes, jewellery, body language and the aura of the Swastik Productions' show, to be aired on Sony Entertainment Television starting November 27.
"The first words that come to my mind about taking up this show is thankful and grateful. I wasn't able to convince myself that would I be able to pull it off," Laksh told IANS.
For his role as Porus, the 21-year-old tall, fair and handsome actor has beefed up and has acquired special skills to carry out the action sequences.
"My training started in April. I learnt sword fighting, horse riding, martial arts, rowing, scuba diving, and everything adventurous was into play... I was living the life I wanted to, and getting paid for it.
"I gained weight and muscle... Otherwise, I was a lean person," said Laksh as he flexed his biceps.
He is convinced that the show -- said to be the most expensive that Indian television has seen -- will be a trendsetter.

"This will be a show which will break the norms. Honestly, people look down upon television. When this show will come, it will change it all and will become a benchmark in all aspects... The action, costume, acting, direction."
The role requires him to dedicate 12 hours a day to shoot, and two hours of workout -- leaving little time for his personal life. But Laksh is not complaining.

"My present is Porus and my only aim is to make it larger than life. That's what I am focussing on," said the actor, who sports heavy costumes and accessories in the show.
Before getting a chance to feature in "Porus", Laksh had an interesting story about how he landed in showbiz.

He auditioned for "MTV Roadies" on his friend and mother's insistence and got chosen.
"My mother said, 'You must go, I have a dream to see you on television'. That's how it began. I went there, I got selected. Then one fine morning, I got a call saying that what if instead of 'Roadies', we offer you a fiction show and pay you as well? I said why not.

"That's how I packed my bags and came to Mumbai. Then started off the journey, and here I am," recounted the Delhi boy, who says he has become a "Mumbai guy" now.
Apart from "MTV Warrior High", Laksh has also featured in "Adhuri Kahaani Hamari", "Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya" and "Pardes Mein Hai Meraa Dil".

Sony Entertainment Television’s upcoming historical drama ‘Porus’ based on King Porus and Alexander The Great, has got one more actor on board.

And he is none other than the dashingly dapper Chirag Jani!

A source shared with us, "Chirag will be playing the character of Dasyu, a king who trains the young King Porus into becoming a warrior."

When we called the actor, he confirmed the news with us and shared, “I am learning horse-riding and sword-fighting for the role, and I’m excited about it as it has variant shades,” says Chirag.

Apart from Chirag Jani, as reported by Tellychakkar.com, Rati Pandey, Rohit Purohit, Ishita Ganguly, Praneet Bhat among more will be part of the series.

As readers would know, Porus will be based on the Battle of Hydaspes which occurred between King Porus and Alexander. The shoot for this Swastik Production’s daily will commence in May and air from September onwards.

Popular actor Laksh will play the titular role.

Actors Sanjeeda Sheikh and Keith Sequeria have recreated Bollywood's beloved on-screen couple Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol's popular song "Suraj hua maddham" from the film "Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham...", for their upcoming TV show "Love Ka Hai Intezaar".

With the backdrop of a desert, Sanjeeda and Keith will be seen romancing each other in the song "Utre naa maahi rang" in the show.

"‘Suraj hua maddham' is a landmark song both visually and as a composition altogether. The visuals epitomise love as you start to think of a couple amidst grand backdrops. Our creative team wanted to create something which emanated a similar impact," Siddharth Malhotra, who has produced the show, said in a statement.

"Inevitably, we approached the creator of the original song, Sandesh Shandilya and are glad he came up with an original track 'Utre naa maahi rang' for our show," he added.

"Love Ka Hai Intezaar" will soon be aired on Star Plus.

TOP 10 TRP Shows of the week

This week's analysis is a perplexing one as several loved and mega shows made a comeback to the list. This comeback has only been possible due to the dismal performance of some usual names in the list.

So, here we list down the Top 10 for this week-

It was rather obvious that the premiere episode of 'Nach Baliye 8' would fetch amazing numbers. It would have been a surprise if the show couldn't have made it to the Top 10 this week. So, welcome, 'Nach Baliye 8' at the 10^th spot with 2.2 points.



Just as the headline says, like 'Ishqbaaaz', 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' also makes a comeback to the list, but the happiness comes with a hurdle and that is the ratings of the show hasn't improved at all. The show continues to garner 2.2 points, but somehow, scrapes through to make it at the 9^th spot in this list.


The fans of 'Ishqbaaaz' can rejoice as the show re-enters the list after being off it for over three weeks. But, the ratings of the show haven't improved either as it fetched 2.2 points. Though it manages to grab the 8^th spot, it really needs to buck up if it wants to sustain its position in the list.

This is the third Star Plus show and same story for this one too as the under-performance of several regular members in the list have been a dismal one. We are talking about 'Saath Nibhana Saathiya,' as the show is back in the countdown with a slender lead over other counterparts at 2.2 points, grabbing the 7^th spot.

Now begins the list of shows with a drop in the number game and even the position for some. First one in this list is 'Shani' at the 6th spot witnessing a major drop in numbers managing to fetch 2.2 points as compared to 2.8 points last week.

Another bittersweet contender is 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' as the show has infact risen to the 5^th spot from the 7^th spot this week but has witnessed a fall in the ratings as it yields 2.3 points.

Just like 'Taarak Mehta..', 'Shakti... Astitva Ke Ehsaas Kii' also witnesses a rise in the list to the 4^th spot but a drop in the ratings, garnering 2.4 points.

The fairytale saga for 'Kumkum Bhagya' suffers a pitstop this week as the show fetched 2.8 points as compared to 3.0 points last week, thereby dropping to the 3^rd position.

And the swap of places with 'Kumkum Bhagya' meant that 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' grabs the 2^nd spot, thanks to its consistency of getting 3.0 points this week too.

A drop in the ratings usually mean 'problems' for many shows, but that is not the case with 'Naagin 2' as the show's invincible run continues this week with a drop in ratings to 3.2 points.

'Somebody's loss is somebody's gain' is what this week has summed up to. Star Plus continues to rule the charts while Sony TV drops. We wonder what do we have in store for us in the next week.

Colors’ Dil Se Dil Tak

Shashi Sumeet Productions’ popular daily Dil Se Dil Tak is coming up with a high voltage drama in its ongoing episodes.
The series that airs on Colors, is currently focusing on the burgeoning misunderstanding between Parth (Siddharth Shukla) and Shorvori (Rashami Desai) over Teni (Jasmine Bhasin) and her closeness with Parth.

&TV’s Ek Vivah Aisa Bhi

It’s important to seek blessings from God!!! Isn’t it?

No matter how much of conflict and drama you get to witness on-screen but the cast and crew of &TV’s popular daily Ek Vivah Aisa Bhi is a big happy family off-screen.

The dedicated team works hard for their show and recently, the entire unit went to the famous Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai to seek blessings from God.

When we contacted Abhishek, he told us, “We were shooting for a night sequence and packed up at 6 am in the morning. So I suggested that we visit Siddhivinayak Temple to our production head Pankaj.
The entire team happily obliged and we all went there for darshan. Everybody from our team joined in and we had a fun time. We also had breakfast together while returning from the darshan.”

We hope that the team of Ek Vivah Aisa Bhi keeps up the good job.

The sets of &TV’s popular daily Ek Vivah Aisa Bhi (The House of Originals) surely provides a good working environment to its team, but sometimes things can go haywire, when there are differences in opinions among team members!!!

The same happened on the sets of Ek Vivah Aisa Bhi yesterday (18 April), when the lead actor Abhishek Malik had a fight with creative Tushar Thapliyal.

We hear that the creative team has been planning out Ranveer's (Abhishek Malik) new look. The discussion about the same between the actor and the creative turned into a major argument on sets.

Our source informed us, “Tushar shared the details with Abhishek but he wasn't convinced. Initially, they were discussing it but things went out of control and the two got involved into a heated argument. This caused the shoot to halt for around 30 minutes, and eventually, the Project Head Pankaj Kaushik was summoned to look into the matter."

And what followed was quite a shocking tale. Seeing that Tushar was apparently at fault, he asked him to leave the show.

When we contacted Abhishek, he confirmed the news with us and said, “I am usually quite sweet to people but Tushar wanted to force his opinion on me which was not fair. When my Project Head came to talk to us, I kept quiet with respect but he could see why things had turned ugly. Taking a call, he asked him to leave and things finally got sorted.”

Our source informs us, “In the upcoming episode, Ranveer (Abhishek Malik) and Suman (Sonali Nikam) will be heading towards Kul Devi temple but their journey to the temple won’t be a smooth one. They will have a bad encounter with some goons and after getting rid of them, they will get stuck in the rain. Further, Suman will faint and Ranveer will take care of her."

Ranveer’s caring attitude towards Suman will make her realise her love towards him. The duo will also share some romantic moments as well.

When we contacted Abhishek, he said, “Yes, we are shooting for a romantic sequence. The audiences were waiting to see our chemistry so finally romance is in the air.”

SAB TV’s Dil Deke Dekho

A serial ending generally paves way for a new one, but not always!

Sometimes, it also makes way for changes in the schedule of the existing shows. Following suit, SAB TV will see few programming changes in the coming days. As readers would know, Khatmal-E-Ishq, is set to bid adieu TV screens tomorrow (31 March). And Dil Deke Dekho will take up its slot at 10 pm from next week (3 April).

Dil Deke Dekho currently airs at the 10:30 pm slot. When we contacted Abhishek Bajaj, who plays the lead in Dil Deke Dekho, he said, “I feel that it’s a great step taken by the channel. Our show is a family drama and most people sleep early in our country. Now, I feel more people will be able to watch our serial."

Our source informs us, “Actress Patrali Chattopadhyay (currently seen on &TV’s Queens Hain Hum) will be entering the show as Mohini. She will be Vishnu’s roop. Her character is going to be a cameo but she will have a major part to play in the Amrit Manthan episode.”

Sources confirm that Veebha has already shot for the episodes.

Our source informs us, “Sarika will be organizing a party for couples and she will invite Piyush for the same. An elated Piyush will assume that Sarika has invited him as she loves him but Sarika on the other hand, will have another surprise in store.

In the party, Sarika will shock Piyush by telling him that he can join the party with Deepika (Anjali Anand), as she will be attending the party with another guy (to be played by Angad Hasija).”

Of late, we saw Aly Goni and Rohan Gandotra playing important roles. Now, we have heard that Bidaai fame Angad Hasija is set to play a cameo in the above drama.

Yes, as per the plot, Angad will be Sarika’s (Benazir Shaikh) friend, who would enter the scene to make Piyush (Meherzan Mazda) jealous.

Angad confirmed the news and shared, “Yes, I have a guest appearance in Dhhai Kilo Prem. I have already started shooting for it.”
 

Producer Sandiip Sikcand thanked Angad on the Instagram for being part of his project.

The romantic drama revolves around Piyush and Deepika played by Meherzan Mazda and Anjali Anand respectively.

The makers have roped in television actor Vikram Thakur, who has earlier been part of theatres, and DD shows.

When we contacted Vikram, he shared, “I am playing the character of Kishore, who is fun loving, caring and very protective towards Pankaj (Kiran Karmarkar) uncle, and his family. I happen to be good friends of Piyush and handle Pankaj uncle’s business. I have begun shooting and my entry will air in day or two. I am excited and looking forward to my journey with Dhhai Kilo Prem.”
