Kannada daily soap Mathe Vasantha has successfully completed 350 episodes. The show, which bounced back post the nationwide lockdown the previous year, seems to be getting a good response from the viewers.
- Mathe Vasantha to have three character replacements - Sachin
Thimmaiah, Madhumathi, and Nandini CM, who were seen in prominent
roles, have bid adieu to the show owing to personal reasons. While
Sachin was seen portraying the character Murali, Madhumathi played
'Kalyani' and Nandini essayed the character Manya.
- Actor Bharath Gowda will replace Sachin thimmaiah in the show. Madhumathi's character will be replaced by Mangala Gowri Maduve fame Mamata Raj and actress Nayana has replaced Nandini as Manya.

- Vivek Simha quits the serial Mathe Vasantha - Actor Vivek Simha has walked out of the serial Mathe Vasantha. The serial, which went on air in March before lockdown was imposed, stopped airing because of lack of fresh episodes. Despite the channel deciding to continue with the show now, Vivek Simha has decided to opt out of the show which is directed by Madhusudhan.
- Mathe Vasantha is about Aparna, who falls in love with local gangster Vasantha Goon.
- They both meet accidentally while Vasantha is committing a crime.
- Aparna decides to file a police complaint against him.
- On the other hand, another gangster called Shastri tells Vasantha about Aparna’s motive.
- Vasantha threatens Aparna and her family members as Aparna wants to file a complaint at any cost.
- Due to Aparna’s complaint, Vasantha lands in jail. He misses the birthday of his sister whom he loves the most.
- After completing the jail term, Vasantha abducts Aparna which brings a twist to the tale.
- Mathe Vasanth initially had actor Vivek Simha, who played the lead role. The actor quit the show mid-way as he wanted to concentrate more on his film career. However, he was then replaced by actor Rakshiith from 'Mangalyam Tantunaanena' fame.
- Actress Akshatha Despande as the female protagonist. She essays the character Aparna in the show.
