 ‘Anbe Sivam’, a new family drama, is all set to premiere on October 18. The channel airing the show has confirmed the same with the latest promo videos.
‘Anbe Sivam’ features Vikram Shri, Raksha Holla, Master Ansica, Master Hadeed, Sreekha, Krithikaa Laddu and others.

Anbe Sivam follows the emotional journey of two individuals, Nalla Sivam (Vikram Shri) and Anbu Selvi aka Anbu (Raksha Holla) who yearn for meaningful relationships. It showcases the sufferings of two individuals’ and their long-lost need for companionship.
Anbu Selvi is an extremely talented and successful fashion designer. On the other hand, Nalla Sivam is a righteous man and a lawyer with high moral values. They both face the stigma of being divorcees in their lives.

In addition to balancing the responsibility of her family, Anbu Selvi manages her work life too in an extremely good manner. Her family comprises two children Kalai and Bharati, played by Master Ansica & Master Hadeed, sister-in-law and mother-in-law.

Meanwhile, Nalla Sivam is a father of twin daughters Oviya and Iniya played by Sreekha. They are separated so that one daughter from the duo could live with a parent. As Oviya stays with her mother, she grows up observing her mother’s one-sided perspective alone. Hence, she detests her father.

Vikram Shri says “He is excited to be playing the role of Nalla Sivam while also expressing his eagerness to entertain the Tamil audience. Nalla Sivam is an interesting character who is constantly caught between his desires and responsibilities. The character is very relatable, and viewers will eventually start noticing the multiple layers to the character. I am extremely excited to be playing the lead role and I hope that my fans will enjoy watching this new show.”


Raksha Holla who plays the central character of Anbu Selvi says, “Bringing Anbu Selvi alive is not as easy as it looks. She is strong and composed on the outside but she is deeply broken. To play a mother, wife, entrepreneur, and daughter at the same time, and fulfil all her responsibilities is truly a challenge but I am looking forward to giving this character my best shot. I am extremely happy to be a part of such a distinct storyline that is sure to entertain and at the same time enlighten the viewers.”

Story:

• According to the story, Bhoomika Varun Krishna (essayed by Delna Davis) faces a lot of trouble from in-laws of hubby Varun Krishna (Viraat). Senior government official Vanitha (Ambika) learns about the sufferings of Bhoomika. Later, she extends her support to Bhoomika in solving problems faced by her.
