- Sridhar Sena emerges as the winner; receives trophy and Rs. 10 lakh from music composer Anirudh Ravichander
- Sridhar Sena won the title of the reality show Super
Singer Season 8. He was crowned as the winner in the grand finale held
on September 26. Sridhar received the trophy and cash prize of Rs 10
lakh presented to him by the top music composer Anirudh Ravichander.
Bharat was declared as the runner-up and Abhilash was declared as the
second runner-up. Sridhar Sena, who is from Coimbatore, had participated
in the reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Tamil.
- As promised earlier, special guest Anirudh announced that the winner Sridhar Sena will be given a playback opportunity.
- Runner-up Bharat was awarded a cash prize of Rs 3 lakh and an additional sum of Rs 50,000. Second runner-up Abhilash received a cash prize of Rs 2 lakh.
- Muthusirpi won the title of Differentiator of this
season and was given a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh. Super Singer season 8
premiered in January this year with 20 contestants. Out of them, six
contestants made it to the grand finale after passing through several
rounds of eliminations. This includes Sridhar Sena, Muthusirpi, Bharath,
Anu, Abhilash, and Maanasi. Sridhar Cena and Manasi entered the finals
after becoming wildcard round winners. All six finalists gave their best
in the finale. But, Sridhar became the title winner. Anuradha Sriram,
Benny Dayal, Unnikrishnan, and SPB Charan, judged the performances of
the finalists. Other musicians and singers like K.S. Chithra, Santhosh
Narayanan, Ananth Vaidhyanathan, Malgudi Subha, Kalpana, Manikka
Vinayagam, and others graced the show as the special judges.
The event also featured performances by Harish Kalyan and Cooku with Comalis fame Pugazh, Sivaangi Krish, and others.The show was hosted by Ma Ka Pa Anand and Priyanka Deshpande.

Super Singer Season 8 inches towards its Grand Finale; music composer Anirudh Ravichander to crown the winner.- Super Singer season 8, the popular reality show which was launched in January this year, is coming to an end on September 26. Top music composer Anirudh Ravichander will be the chief guest of the show and crown the winner of the season.
- Super Singer season 8 premiered in January 2021 with the best 20 contestants who were selected after multiple rounds of preliminary auditions. The show featured contestants who were talented enough with the ability to sing in various genres. After going through many rounds of eliminations, the final six contestants have made it to the grand finale. They are Muthusirpi, Sridharsena, Bharath, Abhilash, Anu and Maanasi. Among them, Sridharsena and Maanasi were wildcard round winners. These six finalists will have a musical battle for the coveted title of Super Singer season 8.
- Chief guest Anirudh Ravichander will honor the title winner. Besides this, the title winner will get a playback opportunity in Anirudh’s composition.
- Anuradha Sriram, Unnikrishnan, Benny Dayal and SPB Charan are the judges of Super Singer season 8. Besides them, many musicians and singers like K.S. Chithra, Ananth Vaidhyanathan, Malgudi Subha, Kalpana, and others will grace the show as special judges.
- Besides the high voltage performances of the finalists, the grand finale LIVE will feature performances by Pugazh, Sivaangi Krish, Harish Kalyan, and participants of the Cook with Comalis show.
