'Idhayathai Thirudathey' to go off-air; team wraps up shoot: TV show which caught the attention of Tamil audiences with its high-voltage drama and on-screen romance, is going to end its journey soon. The cast and crew wrapped up their shoot yesterday (May 10). It was an emotional moment for the team as they wrapped the shoot for the show. Idhayathai Thirudathey stars Navin and Hima Bindhu as the lead pair. The television series was launched on February 14, 2020. The show aired for two seasons. The story of Idhayathai Thirudathey is about the enemies-to-lovers romance of Shiva and Sahana. Sahana, notices her friend being beaten up by Shiva, the handyman of the local politician, Dakshayani. Shiva's act leaves Sahana fuming with rage. After witnessing the incident with Shiva, Sahana gets distraught. Sahana decides to speak up against the injustice and gives her statement against Shiva to the police. Planning on teaching Sahana a lesson, Shiva kidnapps Sahana. Sahana's wedding comes to a shocking halt when the family discovers that she is nowhere to be found. While Sahana's family faces humiliation, Sahana's wedding gets called off. Shiva releases Sahana after keeping her in captivity as an act of revenge. Getting humiliated by Vanavarayan, Dakshayani asks Sahana's parents to get Sahana married to Shiva. At first, Shiva and Sahana refrained, but they were compelled to agree. Sahana and Shiva exchange vows and promise to be with each other, with rage and revenge in their hearts. Folk Singers Senthil Ganesh and Rajalakshmi set for a Navratri special cameo: The episodes air from October 11. They will feature as guests (themselves) who visit the Shiva aka King’s (Navin Kumar) house for Navratri. According to the story, Navin Kumar organises a Navratri special exhibition at his house and invites special guests to surprise his estranged wife Sahana (Hima Bindhu). Shiva, Sahana and their daughter Aishwarya (Aazhiya) and others have a blast during festival. Actor Rithiesh shared a few pictures with the celebrity couple and co-stars from the special shoot. This cameo appearance in Idhayathai Thirudathey marks Senthil, Rajalakshmi’s acting debut, too. Earlier, they participated in the show Super Singer season 6. Senthil emerged as the winner of the season. On the work front, the couple are busy with their singing career and music shows.
