Completed 200 Episodes: Bengali TV show ‘Indrani’, which managed to catch the attention of Bengali audience with its interesting storyline, has completed 200 episodes. Celebration is certainly on the card and energy is flying high on the shooting floor today.- The cast and
crew, who are on cloud nine after hitting second century, enjoyed a
small cake-cutting party on the set. The show features Ankita
Chakraborty and Rahul Ganguly as a reel-pair. Ankita, who has been
giving the small screen a miss after her appearance on Oindrila Sen,
Vikram Chatterjee and Koushik Roy starrer ‘Phagun Bou’, can be seen in a
Bengali television show after quite some time. Indrani’s story revolves
around a woman who is successful in her career. She is a doctor by
profession and a mom of a young girl. Although protagonist Indrani’s
career is on the right track, her married life was never happy and she
takes care of her in-laws as well as daughter single-handedly. 40
something Indrani’s life takes a different turn when Aditya, a young
doctor in his 20s falls in love with her. Indrani, who has her own
reasons besides believing that society will never accept their
relationship, rejects Aditya. The latter, on the other hand, is
determined to win Indrani at any cost.
- Indrani’s story brought a welcoming change on Bengali television, where the story of a much older man marrying a young girl can be seen quite often but seldom the opposite can be seen. Bengali shows are breaking stereotypes with the shows like ‘Sreemoyee’, ‘Aay Tobe Sohochori’, ‘Andarmahal’, ‘Lokkhi Kakima Superstar’, and now ‘Meyebela’, where the story follows the journey of 40something protagonists. But Bengali viewers have seen the story of an older women marrying a young goy on TV. ‘Indrani’, from that point of view, brought a welcoming change. The show was launched in July 2022 and has been enjoying a good response from the audience.

- Senior artist Kheyali Dastidar pens dialogue for upcoming television serial ‘Indrani’: TV show ‘Indrani’, starring Ankitaa Chakraborty in the titular role, is ready to premiere on a popular Bengali channel. While the TV show has an interesting cast playing prominent roles, it also has a strong team who are working behind the camera. Senior artist Kheyali Dastidar, who is very popular among the audience, is also part of the creative team. She is penning the dialogues for TV show ‘Indrani’ while director Babu Banik has conceptualised the story and also directing the show. \Actor Rahul Ganguly is essaying Aditya’s character. Soma Chakraborty, child artist Sambhabi Mukherjee and others will be seen essaying different characters in the show.

upcoming show has an interesting storyline that explores love and

- The latter develops a soft corner for much older Indrani who works in the same hospital as Chief Administrative Officer.
