Subhashree Ganguly looks beautiful as Mahishasuramardini, With Mahalaya, less than a month away, Bengali diaspora around the world are already enjoying a festive vibe. Adding more to the vibe, Durga Puja Committees are busy in preparations and markets are witnessing a massive footfall from buyers. Meanwhile, all leading channels are at loggerheads to impress the audience with their offerings on Mahalaya morning. Two leading channels have already aired the promo of the upcoming Mahalaya special TV show. One has made a surprise announcement by featuring film actress Rituparna Sengupta as Mahishasuramardini while another has roped in Sona Moni Saha. Both the shows will be featuring other television actresses in different avatars of Devi Durga. Taking the competition a notch higher, a TV channel that airs shows like ‘Mithai’, ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’, has shared the very first glimpse of its special program ‘Singhabahini Trinayani’ as well. As we have already reported, actress Subhashree Ganguly is playing Mahishasuramardini. She looked absolutely beautiful as Mahishasuramardini in the promo, which is backed with visual graphics and special effects. The makers have beautifully conceptualised her look. Draped in yellow saree, heavy jewellery, the actress looked breathtakingly beautiful. Subhashree had a good time with the team during the shooting of the promo.
This
is not the first time she is essaying Goddess Durga. Last year too, the
former judge of ‘Dance Dance Junior Season 11’ was a part of the
Mahalaya special show.The Mahalaya special television program starring
Subhashree as the Goddess, will feature Rubel Das as Lord Shiva.
Actresses from different shows including ‘Mithai’, ‘Pilu’, ‘Laal Kuthi’
will essay different avatars of Devi Durga.
With
such star-studded shows by all leading channels, it will be worth a
watch to see which one manages to steal the highest TRP with their
special offering.
