- Titly Aich bags a prominent role in devotional TV show ‘Maa Shitalar Brotokotha’
The TV show is a part of series ‘Meyeder Brotokotha’.- ‘Maa Shitalar Brotokotha’ will highlight the glory of Devi Shitala.
- The new series begins with the narrative of a to be 18-year-old, young and affectionate girl named Chorki. She lives in the village Bankapasi along with her brother Gopal and his wife Rasomoyee. Kadam, who is the only daughter of Gopal and Rasomoyee, is Chorki’s sole companion. They are inseparable and can always be spotted together.
- The young girls play around, help each other and share secrets too. One day the village chief declares that if Chorki remains unmarried till eighteen years then she and her family will be banned by the village and they won’t have access of using the water from the common well.
- The
story takes an interesting turn when young Chorki was returning home
after fetching water from the far end of the village and she unknowingly
liberates Maa Shitala from an inanimate stone piece founded since time
immemorial.

- Titly Aich has a new feather to her cap. Titly, the actress, who is still studying, stepped into the showbiz at an early age. Pallavi Sharma and Biswajit Ghosh starrer daily soap ‘Ke Apon Ke Por’ made her a household name. She played Itu’s character in the TV drama which successfully entertained the audience for a very long time.
- Directed by Suman Roy, the new television series features many prominent faces from the television industry in different roles.
- Joyeeta Goswami is essaying Maa Shitala’s character.
- The show also has Reshmi Bhattacharya, Arpan Das, Rupam, Srija Bhattacharya, Payel Bhar, and Tarun Chakraborty, Anubhab Dutta, Debopriyo Dutta, Somdutta Biswas and Sangeeta Ghosh and others.
