- New family drama 'Pachakili' to entertain the audience.
This July, the Tamil telly world is set to witness a list of new TV shows. Adding one more to the list, Pachakili, a brand new tv serial with a plotline that encircles around familial bonds and sibling relationships, is set to be premiered.- The makers have revealed that the TV serial will premiere on July 4 at 7.30 p.m.
- Monisha Arshak and Kishore Dev will be seen playing as the main leads of the show.
- Monisha Arshak is no stranger to Tamil households. She was already seen appearing in 'Naam Iruvar Naamaku Iruvar 2' as Maha Lakshmi, replacing Rachitha Mahalakshmi. Talking about her role as 'Pachakili', Monisha Arshak said, "I am happy to play Pachakili, a smart but strong-headed woman who knows her way out of every situation and never bends in the face of hurdles. Pachakili as a character represents every woman out there who holds their bonds and principles in high regard, are true empathizers, and have unconditional love for everyone around them. I am sure this character will resonate with the audience owing to her simplistic nature. I must mention that this is my maiden association with Colors Tamil and I am glad to be part of such a remarkable concept."
- Kishore Dev, on the other hand, was seen appearing in movies like Aadai (as Deepak), Niranjana, etc.
Story:
- The show is based on the lives of a naive village belle, Pachakili (Monisha Arshak), and Adithya (Actor Kishore), and focuses on how the two people come together under one roof despite their opposing views on family and marriage.
- Pachakili is the pampered
sister of three brothers- Meenakshi Sundaram ( Stalin Muthu), Azhagar
(Vijay Anand) and Velu (Actor Ashwin). She values her relationships and
is willing to go to any length to protect them.
- However, her life takes a turn when she comes across a well-known lawyer, Adithya, who doesn’t value familial ties or nuptial bonds. He is infamous for taking up divorce cases, owing to his own dysfunctional family. Will the relationship thrive when the two opposite poles come together? This forms the crux of the story.
