About the Show:
Bengali TV is ready to air special programs on the occasion of ‘Janmashtami’.- While
a few fiction shows will incorporate the occasion in the storyline,
Bengali non-fiction shows also have some special treats for the
audience.
- Adding one more to the list, a special television program will be aired on a leading channel. It will feature some of the very popular actors playing prominent roles.
Star Cast:
- Actor Sabyasachi Chowdhury
will be seen on television after a brief gap. The actor earned huge
popularity by essaying the role of Sadhak Bamakhyapa in mythological TV
show ‘Mahapeeth Tarapeeth’, which concluded its journey on Bengali TV a
few months back.
- In the Janmashtami special show, Sabyasachi will essay Vasudev's character, while Anamika Chakraborty will play Devaki. Just like Sabyasachi, Anamika will also be seen on the small screen after a brief gap. The actress became a household name with her performance in Sean Banerjee starrer ‘Ekhane Akash Neel’.
- Interestingly, the makers have roped in Dipanwita Rakshit as Yashoda and Abhishek Bose
as Nanda. Both the actors are popular among the audience and are
currently a part of reality series ‘Dance Dance Junior Season 3’ as
celebrity mentors.
