About the Web Series:
The first season had eight episodes.- Get
ready for an interesting journey with none other detective Gora, who
might forget names, addresses and other things but can solve a complex
case easily.
- The first season of the
web series had managed to catch the attention of the audience as well as
critics because of a power-packed performance by its star cast and
crisp narration.
- The series by, Sahana Dutta, who has given several hit daily soaps and went on to leave her mark on OTT platforms, premiered this year in January. Detective Gora’s unconventional approach and his unique methods of solving a case, made the web series more interesting.
- Although,
Bengali OTT platforms have many thriller series based on detective
stories, Gora managed to win the hearts of the audience in its very
first season; thanks to Ritwick’s brilliant performance. He looked every
bit convincing as Gora, who is bit eccentric and forgetful but
considers himself as a detective who is expert in solving serial murder
cases.
New Star Cast:
- Season one featured Ritwick in the titular role, Ishaa Saha as Somlata, Suhotra Mukhopadhyay as Sarathi (Gora's side-kick and sister's fiancée), Ananya Sen as Konka (Gora's sister), Anuradha Roy (Gora's mother). Besides them, Abhijit Guha, Payel De, Koushik Chattopadhyay and Judhajit Sarkar also played meaty roles in it.
