New STORY, Plot:
Based on eminent author Narayan Sanyal’s detective novel ‘Sonar Kanta’, a new web series is all set to be streamed on a leading Bengali OTT platform.- Titled ‘Kantay Kantay’, the upcoming web series is directed by Joydeep Mukherjee and will feature some of the leading stars of Tollywood.
- Makers promise that the adaptation will take the audience on an intriguing journey that is full of suspense and thrilling moments, just like the original story.
New Star Cast, Crew:
- Artists Saswata Chatterjee and Ananya Chatterjee, will share the screen yet again in this upcoming OTT venture.
- The ensemble cast also includes actors Soham Chakraborty, Paayel Sarkar, Mir Afsar Ali, Rachel White, Ayushi Talukder, Somraj Maity and others.
- Director Arindam Sil’s next web series ‘Shabash Feluda’ will feature actor Parambrata Chattopadhyay as dective Prodosh Mitter.
- The series is adapted from Satyajit Ray’s ‘Gangtok Ey Gondogol’.
It will also have an ensemble cast. Ankush Hazra, Koushik Ganguly,
Debasish Mondal and Sandipta Sen’s ‘Shikarpur’ is also going to
entertain the audience soon. It will also see Ankush playing the role of
an aspirant detective named Keshto, who is quite confident about his
intelligence and analytical skills. However, the villagers have a
different opinion about him. Besides suspense, the makers have added
some light hearted moments in the story to take the entertainment
quotient a notch higher.
