Actor Sagar Singh, who made his acting debut with the suspenseful Punjabi crime drama film 'Phagwara Bypass', is excited to make his television debut with the upcoming supernatural thriller 'Rajnandini', starring Abhishek Malik and Neha Solanki in the lead roles.

Opening up about his first experience on television, Sagar admitted that it was completely new and challenging for him.
"This is my first time doing a television show. I have done various other projects earlier, but TV is a whole different ball game. There's a distinct kind of energy on television, everything is slightly amplified, which is great for the viewers, but for me it was an entirely new experience. In the beginning, it took me a while to understand and get into the skin of my character. I struggled to find my place and at one point I even began to doubt myself and my craft. But after talking to my mother and taking some guidance from the creative director, things became clearer in my mind and everything started to settle. It has been a new, difficult, yet ultimately very enjoyable journey," he said.
Talking about who had the biggest reaction to him bagging his first TV show, the actor shared that it was his mother.
"It was definitely my mom. She has always believed in me and prayed for me. The moment I got the confirmation call, I called her and gave her the news. She was extremely happy and proud. A few of my friends were really excited too, but my mom definitely had the biggest reaction," he said.
When asked about what kind of roles he would like to explore next, Sagar said he wants to play a lover boy and a vampire.
"I'd love to play a lover boy. I've also always wanted to play a vampire. Grey-shaded characters are probably the most interesting to me because there's so much to explore, but I don't want to limit myself to those kinds of roles. I'd be open to playing different characters and exploring different genres. If I find the story intriguing, I'd be up for it," he added.
