With every season of Bigg Boss Telugu, there come fresh contestants, new strategies, and new fights. Some of them sort them out the same day, while some turn into deadly rivals. With Rohit and Thrigun's rivalry turning out to be the hot topic of Season 10, let us recall some of the most intense contestant rivalries of every season of the reality show.
There were fights even in the first season. One of the early fights was between Jyothi and Hariteja over the consumption of ration in the house. Hariteja questioned what she thought was an irresponsible use of food, and Jyothi took her to task on the issue. The bout was one of the highlight fights of the first season of the show.
Season 2 – Kaushal vs Tanish
There were some rivalries in Season 2, but the battles between Kaushal and Tanish were quite visible. They disagreed on everything from house matters to captaincy and their approach to the game. At one point, the two were engaged in a nasty argument after a discussion around captaincy. Their rivalry became so popular that it spilled out of the house, with fan groups forming around the contestants.
Season 3 – Rahul Sipligunj vs Varun Sandesh
Rahul Sipligunj and Varun Sandesh entered the house as friends, but their relationship changed during a task. Rahul objected to Vithika's physical involvement in the task, while Varun stood by his wife. The argument escalated into a huge fight and, according to reports, left both friends not talking to each other for a couple of days.
Season 4 – Abhijeet vs Akhil Sarthak
Season 4’s Abhijeet-Akhil rivalry was one of the most talked-about feuds of the season. They had conflicts during nomination and task situations, one of which got heated so much that host Nagarjuna had to intervene. After Akhil’s return from the secret room, their rivalry continued with a new round of verbal spat, which became fodder for memes on social media.
Season 5 – Sunny vs Siri
The Sunny-Siri ‘Appadam’ fight is among the memorable fights from Season 5. Sunny was throwing balls during the captaincy task, and Siri tried to stop him, which led to a verbal exchange. The argument became ugly, and Shanmukh also got into it. The fight was so iconic that later contestants re-enacted it during a role-play task.
Season 6 – Inaya Sultana vs Srihan
Inaya and Srihan had one of the most sustained clashes of Season 6. Their arguments popped up throughout the season, even on task-related disagreements. They had another heated exchange at one point during a task, continuing a rivalry that had already become familiar to viewers. Reports at the time said the two had clashed most weeks of the season.
Season 7 – Amar Deep vs Ashwini
Amar Deep and Ashwini had a vigorous argument while taking part in a captaincy task. The dispute developed until Ashwini said that Amar had hit her, whereas Amar insisted that she was the one who had initiated the physical interaction. The argument then spread to include some of the other contestants as well, making it one of the more dramatic conflicts of the season that occurred during the task.
In season 8 there was a major clash between Nikhil and Gautham. What started over a matter concerning Yashmi developed into a vigorous argument between the two men and, according to reports, the exchange went from verbal abuse to the point at which the other housemates had to get involved and separate them.
There was also a very fierce argument between Kalyan and Pavan in Season 9. Apparently, during a dispute concerning nominations, Kalyan doubted whether Pavan took the game seriously. The disagreement quickly intensified until Pavan is said to have grabbed Kalyan by the throat, and the other contestants intervened as the situation in the house turned chaotic.
