new season along with its refreshing concept, a source mentions that
there will be a new host who would be narrating the show.
Who is
this new face representing bindass’ flagship show? Anshit Sharma
popularly known as Rapper Maddy will weave every tale through his raps
that will be specially created for each episode. To give a little
introduction on this charming youngster, he is a versatile personality
who is a singer, composer, lyricist, dancer, actor and a popular rapper
who has made a million people groove to his beats. He is extremely
talented as he can rap in five different languages and has performed
with renowned DJ’s across the world like DJ Akhtar, DJ Aqueel, DJ
Suketu, Akcent, Juggy D and DJ Quicksilver.
“Yeh Hai Aashiqui has really set the standards high with its storytelling and Sun Yaar Try Maar will
definitely take it a step further. A love story narrated through a
specially crafted rap hasn’t really been explored in the world of
television before and I am too happy to bring in a fresh take to

Indian Idol fame Tia Kar and Zaan Khan in Yeh Hai Aashiqui
BBC Media Entertainment has been giving scope to many newcomers in their episodic love tales on Yeh Hai
Aashiqui on
Disney Bindass. This time, the renowned production house will bring to
the acting limelight, the singing sensation of Indian Idol 5, Tia Kar.
Tia
popularly known as ‘Princess’ in her singing circuit, will make her
fiction debut in this week’s episodic story. Her love interest will be
Zaan Khan, from the Channel V show Jhalli Anjali Ke Tootey Dil Ki Amazing Love Story.
The
story will narrate the tale of a girl who will be a social phobic,
essayed by Tia. She would show enormous confidence when in her zone, but
once she would face people, she would get very diffident and
under-confident. However, she will fall in love with the stud in the
college, played by Zaan. But she would believe that she will never win
over him, due to their contrasting personalities.
However, the
girl’s love tale will take a turn when a certain situation will prompt
her to get into a totally different personality. And soon the boy will
fall for her new personality. But then, the girl would get into a
dilemma as the boy would have fallen for her newness, and not for what
she actually is.
Will their love story have a happy ending?
When
contacted, Palki Malhotra, Creative Producer, BBC Entertainment told
us, “This story about the girl being an underdog and later developing
into a whole new personality will have a gripping storyline. BBC yet
again gave an opportunity for a new face, Tia in this case to nurture
her acting skills. Tia and Zaan have done commendably well in their
roles.”
When contacted, an excited Tia told Tellychakkar.com, “I am very excited about making my acting debut. And I am thankful to the Yeh Hai Aashiqui
team for giving me this opportunity. The entire crew, my co-star Zaan
and our director were extremely patient with me, and helped me a lot.
This character was a challenge to me, as I am very opposite to what my
onscreen character is in this story.”
Zaan said: "This is a
beautiful story where both the characters have different shades. After
Jhalli Anjali, playing a lover boy again has been interesting and I
really enjoyed the overall experience. Being back home for New
Year in
Bhopal I am waiting to catch the episode with my family. I also hope
that all my viewers would enjoy the episode. Wish all of you a great

Abigail Jain excited to be back on Yeh Hai Aashiqui
Actress Abigail Jain will return to TV show "Yeh Hai Aashiqui" after a year's break, and she's excited about playing the role of a pampered girl.
"Yeh Hai Aashiqui",
which airs on Bindass, shows unique love stories in every episode. In
the forthcoming episode on Sunday (28 December), Abigail will feature as
Shikha, a new girl in a college. She takes every day of her life as a
challenge.
Happy to be back on the show, Abigail said in a statement: "I have always loved the concept of 'Yeh Hai Aashiqui', as it showcases different and unusual love stories, which is why I’m back on the show."
Talking
about her role, she said: "I'm playing a pampered girl who is
determined and does not give up easily.
The story plot revolves around
how she meets this guy online, how both have different personalities as
opposed to their online personality and how they get to know each
other."
Actor Teeshay Shah will be seen as Vicky in the episode,
and Rithvik Dhanjani will be seen taking the viewers through the love
story.
Abigail had previously appeared on "Yeh Hai Aashiqui" in a story about a girl falling in love with a chronically ill man.

Kiran Srinivas and Barkha Singh to feature in Yeh Hai Aashiqui
The Christmas special episode of Yeh Hai Aashiqui
on Disney Bindass will narrate the tale of a Casanova boy and a
feminist girl. The love tale set up in the backdrop of a basketball
court will also see an interesting story woven around the sport.
Produced
by BBC Media Entertainment, the episodic was nostalgic for the team to
shoot, as it was shot in Cinevistaas Studio, and also at the Dil Dostii Dance basketball court.
The
best part was that the maker brought in a basketball coach to train the
leads and other actors on the game. The leads in fact went through a
two days training at the court, before they got shooting for the
episodic.
The story will see young lad Kiran Srinivas of 24 and Paanch fame playing the male protagonist along with Barkha Singh, who is
basically a model and anchor at Channel V.
The
episodic will narrate an impossible love tale between a Casanova and a
girl who will simply hate men, and how their love story would stand the
test of time.
When contacted, Palki Malhotra, Creative
Producer, BBC told us, “There was a lot of fun and nostalgia as the
ex-D3 director Anirudh was directing the episodic. Also we used the D3
basket ball court in our scenes. Kiran and Barkha the leads were super
and they went through a basket ball training to get their scenes right.
Kiran was a natural, and after the final episode, it reminded me quite a
bit about Dill Mill Gayye.”
Barkha
told us, “It was indeed fun shooting for the episodic with BBC. After
the rigorous two days basketball training we had, we got all our scenes
perfectly. The coach himself called the shots for the basket ball
sequence. In fact, I even managed to turn back and throw the ball into
the net for a sequence, and such was the level of training we had.”

Nakul Sahdev and Chhavi Pandey in Yeh Hai Aashiqui
BBC
Worldwide Productions will narrate a cute love tale between a blind yet
smart guitarist and his student at the music academy for Disney
Bindass’ Yeh Hai Aashiqui. Essaying the blind guitarist will be actor Nakul Sahdev who was last seen in MTV’s Fanaah.
For Nakul, this will be his second story of Yeh Hai Aashiqui with BBC, as he was part of the tennis related story earlier with Kaizeen Daruvalla.
Actress Chhavi Pandey of Ek Boond Ishq fame will play the young girl who would join the music academy to learn music.
Life will at once turn into a bed of roses for Drishti (Chhavi), when
she will join the music academy, only to fall in love with her guitar
teacher. This relationship between the teacher and student will be
unique in all ways as the teacher, essayed by Nakul will be young, smart
and brilliant but at the same time will be blind.
We hear that a special 3-day workshop was conducted by BBC Worldwide
with a blind guitarist and Nakul, at the BBC office. This was a good
learning curve for Nakul to adapt playing a blind guy and understand the
character better.
When contacted, Nakul told Tellychakkar.com, “It is a privilege to work with the BBC team again for Yeh Hai Aashiqui.
This is a very interesting story, wherein I play the role of a blind
guitarist. I was provided a three day workshop with a blind guitarist so
that I get to learn all the nuances. In fact, I had earlier played a
blind boy for a short play. And now to repeat the feat and play a blind
grown-up guy was indeed a challenge.”

Priya Bathija and Karan Jotwani to feature in Yeh Hai Aashiqui
Bodhi Tree Productions will now come up with a very unique love story for Disney Bindass’ Yeh Hai Aashiqui. The episodic will feature Priya Bathija and Karan Jotwani in central roles.
Priya, seen in Life OK’s Ek Boond Ishq will play the role of a life coach, a person who would counsel students in a college. Karan who is presently seen in Life OK’s Laut Aao Trisha in the role of Vivaan will play one of the students in the college who would fall for the counsellor who is much elder to him.
The story will be a very different love story, is what we hear.
When contacted, Priya told us, “Yes, I will be starting shoot for the
episodic from tomorrow. However, I cannot talk about the story.”
Karan on his part told us, “I will be playing a student of a college who would be more or less lost in his own world.”

Mudit Nayyar and Shruti Kanwar to feature in Yeh Hai Aashiqui
Bodhi Tree Productions’ Yeh Hai Aashiqui on Disney Bindass will feature a love tale that happens between a rich and outspoken girl and a poor, shy boy. Mudit Nayyar of Anamika fame and Shruti Kanwar of Pavitra Rishta fame will play the central characters.
Mudit will play the role of Dev, son of a simple flower vendor. Dev
will be a well-educated smart guy who would be rather shy. His life will
change when he will meet Asmita (Shruti), the rich, outspoken and
confident girl. Though he will not be ready to let his heart speak,
Asmita will make the moves needed to take the love story ahead. However,
their love will find an obstacle in Asmita’s dad who would not like his
daughter marrying a guy from the lower middle class. How their love
would overcome this test of time would form the crux of the story.

Mudit too said, “I play the role of a guy who is born to a flower

Shivam Patil, Vallary Lokre and Zuber K Khan in Bindass' Yeh Hai Aashiqui
The popular love story based show Yeh Hai Aashiqui
is all set to present a beautiful tale in one of its coming episodes.
The plot will revolve around the life of a woman who post marriage will
lead a lonely life for her husband will be ever busy in his work life.
To find solace and happiness she will turn towards her long lost

The talented and elegant Pooja Gor
will now be seen playing the lonely housewife who falls for a younger
man in Vikas Gupta’s series of love stories for Disney Bindass, Yeh Hai Aashiqui. The show which has won a lot of appreciation is produced by Lost Boy Productions and BBC Worldwide Productions.
The story will be based on the famous Bengali movie Charulata, which again is based upon the novel Nastanirh, by Rabindranath Tagore. While Pooja plays the sulking wife who longs for happiness, Salil Acharya who has done shows like Shararat, Yeh Meri Life Hai, Kasautii Zindagi Kay, Kkavyanjali, and many more will play the husband of Charulata.

Jugal Hansraj returns to acting with Bindass' Yeh Hai Aashiqui
The popular child actor, who was first seen in Masoom, grew up to play 'Sameer' in the Yash Chopra biggie, Mohabbatein along with Shah Rukh Khan. The actor, who was last seen in Madhuri Dixit's Aaja Nachle, has kept away from acting ever since.
However, now he will be seen getting back to facing the camera for Bindass’ upcoming love story in Yeh Hai Aashiqui.
Talking about his character in Yeh Hai Aashiqui, Jugal said,
“I’m really excited to be a part of the show since I’ll be facing the
camera after a while now. I’ve been behind the camera and directing
films for some time. So I decided to take it up because it’s a very

and my character, which is of a Badminton coach, is very interesting.”

level higher this time. The latest addition to this list is the
critically acclaimed actor Rajkumar Yadav, who will be seen playing the
role of a lawyer just like in his upcoming movie Shahid.
The actor will be accompanied by his co-star, Prabhleen, who will be

feature a story about a couple which bears similarity to Shah Rukh Khan

will launch Ashwin Kaul of Splitsvilla fame as the lead in one of the
upcoming stories in Disney Bindass’ Yeh Hai Aashiqui.
The story which will be a love story about a maid’s well-educated
girl and a rich spoilt brat will also feature Joy Sengupta and Karuna
Verma in central roles.
Joy will play the rich, ambitious, slightly arrogant architect who
has high hopes on his son. He will want his son to excel in studies and
join him to be the best architect in the business. However, the son
will have no inclination towards studies, and will be only helped to get
better by the maid’s daughter who is a good student. As the
tutor-disciple relationship will take a new turn and develop into love,
the parents of the boy will oppose their closeness.

episodic story. I play the well-to-do architect whose dreams come

A hearty dose of entertainment with Kaisa Yeh Ishq Hai 2, says Gaurav S Bajaj!
Siddhant Cinevision’s light-hearted show Kaisa Yeh Ishq Hai-Ajab Sa Risk Hai on Life OK might go on air with its season 2 after the finale of The Bachelorette India. The lead protagonist Sukirti Kandpal aka Simran likely to appear as a ghost in the second season while the male lead Gaurav S Bajaj will reprise his earlier character of Rajveer.
As
per the sources the shooting of the major sequences has already started
shooting. With a more amusing storyline, the show will present Simran
as one who is neither dead nor alive. She would be seen convincing
everyone that she is alive but people will treat her as an illusion,
something to create confusion in the viewers’ mind whether she is alive
or not. Also Rajveer will regret not loving her enough when she was
alive.
Talking about the frequent change that has been happening
in the current television industry, where shows stay too less on air or
keep on changing its theme post the sequel. The talented actor Gaurav
said, “I don’t think that would happen in this case as Kaisa Yeh Ishq
Hai – Ajab Sa Risk Hai season 2 is going to be an entire new show with a
new concept. It is just that the name will be the same. Moreover,
Siddhant Cinevision will come back at the same time-slot. So, I do not
think it should make a difference. I cannot divulge much about the show
but all I can say is that this Season 2 will give its viewers a hearty

About the shooting, he said, “I visited my hometown (Indore) over the last weekend to plan things out for my marriage (with Sakshi Shhorwani). Now I have started shooting.”

Parrvarrish and Bade Ache Lagte Hain fame Aanchal Munjal was reported to star in an exciting new episode of Lost Boy Production and BBC's Yeh Hai Aashiqui on Bindaas, along with TV actor Vinay Rohrra. But, latest news said Priyal Gor, who shot to fame with Dekha Ek Khwaab
has been signed to narrate the same role after replacing Aanchal. The
change has happened as the channel had certain reservations regarding
Aanchal's age.
“The story demanded Aanchal to portray the role of an 18 year old girl
who's in love. However, the channel (Disney Bindaas) has a strict
policy wherein the makers of any of their shows on the channel can't
show a minor as an adult,” sources confirmed.
The makers were left with no opting rather changing its lead actress
for that particular story. The makers have roped in Priyal Gor and
Vinay Rohrra for the episode that will revolve around a cute love story
of a young couple Mukti and Ankur to be played both actors
respectively.
Talking about the love-story, based on the real-life facts, sources
informed that it will hit the rock when their relationship gets
complicated. The circumstances will take worse turn and that is
something for the audience to wait and watch. The shooting for the show
is expected to start from 3 October 2013.
