Now coming to the plot, Abar Ekla Cholo would narrate the journey of a mom who decides to revolt.

Sony TV's Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi

Sony TV’s Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi (Beyond Dreams) is bringing forth new twists and turns with its ongoing episodes.

The entire Bose family is in happy mood these days as Saurabh (Alpesh Dhakan) and Ronita (Khushbu Thakkar) are getting married but as every celebration on the small screen is incomplete without drama, Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi is also set to come up with high voltage wedding drama in its forthcoming episodes.

According to the ongoing episodes of the popular daily, the viewers have seen that Ronita’s mother Tara (Jhumma Mitra) has hidden her daughter’s jewelries and she had an encounter with Dev (Shaheer Sheikh) while she was moving out of the room.

Now we hear that a high voltage drama is set to explode in the forthcoming episodes of the series. Read on – Our source informs us, “Further, everybody will learn in the house that the jewelries have been stolen and there will be a lot of chaos to be witnessed in the house regarding the same. Dev will learn about Tara’s act of stealing the jewelries and he will take the blame upon him thinking that since Saurabh and Ronita love each other and such small things should not affect their marriage.”
Eventually, the Bose family would be upset with Dev, not knowing the fact that he is not the culprit.
We tried but could not reach out to Shaheer for a comment.

When we contacted Khushbu aka Ronita, she said, “All I can say is that there would be a lot of twists is coming up in the upcoming episodes.” Will Dev be proved as innocent in front of the family? Well, let’s wait and watch. Keep reading this space for more updates.

Colors' Comedy Nights Live

Upasana Singh QUITS Colors' Comedy Nights Live

Trouble on the sets of Colors’ Comedy Nights Live doesn’t seem to end.

After Mika’s sudden exit, a popular actor has now bid adieu to the show.

We are talking about the very bubbly Upasana Singh who has quit the above Optimystix show.

According to our sources, Upasana was unhappy with the way her character was shaping up. She has apparently stopped shooting and asked the makers to clear her dues.

And here comes an interesting angle. We have been informed that post her exit, Upasana has been asked to sign a contract which states that she cannot join Sony Entertainment Television’s The Kapil Sharma Show.
As Upasana was earlier part of Kapil’s show (Comedy Nights With Kapil), the channel (Colors) doesn’t want her to move to his new show.

When we buzzed Upasana, she heard us out and then replied, “I cannot talk about anything at this point of time.”

Hmmm...Seems like we've hit the bulls eye!

On the other hand, if rumours are to be believed, Colors is not happy with the way Comedy Nights Live is faring on TRP chats. Though the host of the show Krushna Abhishek has already thrashed the rumours, we hear that if the show doesn’t manage to garner good TRPs it might go off air.

Review of Comedy Nights Live: Lacks the punches, but has the names!!

With Mr. Funny bone of television Kapil Sharma bidding adieu to his comedy chat show Comedy Nights With Kapil on Colors, there was a lot of curiosity raised in the media about the show taking over its place.

And with Krushna Abhishek getting all the limelight over the last few days, for the launch of his show, we too geared up for the big launch!!

Yes, right at 10 o’clock, we settled down in front of the idiot box to have a glimpse of the much talked about show of the year, Comedy Nights Live (Optimystix).

In the very beginning Mika Singh made a grand entry, in his usual manner, humming the tune of his chartbuster songs. Though we did miss Navjyot Singh Sidhu’s shayari, nevertheless Mika’s presence gave us a breath of fresh air.

Post Mika’s performance came Krushna Abhishek in an all new avatar, that of Pappu Singh. No doubt this one man has impressed us many a times, however due to the lack of witty lines in the script, he unfortunately couldn’t cast a spell on us. Sudesh Lehri as Krushna’s dad didn’t have much to do, except for flirting with Pinky bua (Upasana Singh), who was charming as ever.

Coming to Bharti Singh who never fails to mesmerize us, she appeared as Bitto Sharma (Kapil Sharma) and Manju’s (Sumona Chakravarti) son. And with her character portrayal, we got the glimpse of the eternal child, Laali in her.

Aah, that part is what we loved the most.

Perhaps, the best and the most entertaining one in the lot was Siddharth Sagar, who played the character of an irritating neighbour.

Take a bow, young man!!! You never disappoint us.

Unfortunately, the script was indeed weak and all the punches were related to Kapil opting out of the show.

We believe that the writers should focus more on their original script than drawing references from their predecessors.

Though the opening episode of Comedy Nights Live was a decent one, we couldn’t help but miss the superb comic sense of Bittoo, Gutthi (Sunil Grover) and Palak (Kiku Sharda). Having said this, we would add that with the terrific trio Krushna, Sudesh and Bharti being together in the series, we are sure that Comedy Nights Live will soon pick up its pace.

On the whole, the show might take some time to gain popularity amongst audience... All we can say right now is that the weekends will be fun and light-hearted with Comedy Nights Live being on air!!

Readers, do share your thoughts about the show.

Star Plus' Suhani Si Ek Ladki

Star Plus’ Suhani Si Ek Ladki, produced by Panorama Entertainment has been going strong, and has managed to sustain its ratings with time...
The show has gone on to achieve a new landmark today (9 June), that of the two years completion.
And there is a celebratory mood prevailing on the sets of the show, is what we hear.
As per a source, “The cast and crew have been engrossed in cutting cakes, and will also enjoy a party ambience this evening to celebrate the occasion.”
As we know, the Birla family has been the talk of the town with its protagonist Jodi of Yuvraj (Sahil Mehta) and Suhani (Rajshri Rani) getting appreciated. The best part of the show has been its engrossing story line for sure.
When contacted, veteran actress Shashi Sharma who essays the role of Dadi told us, “Yes, mine has always been a central character in the show, and I have loved my entire journey of being part of Suhani Si Ek Ladki. It is a great occasion today, as our show’s strength has always been in the story and performances. We are one happy unit.”
Producer Suzana Ghai felt elated to share her views with us. “It makes me very happy that Suhani has completed two years. In a time when most shows have a short span of life, I think Suhani has stood out and opened a new slot of Hindi GEC. With this, it is proven that simple good content and characters are always accepted by the audience.”
Protagonist Sahil Mehta on his part said, “These two years have been a game changer for me. Whatever I am today, is because of Suzana Ghai and this show. I owe a lot here.”
We tried contacting Rajshri Rani, but could not get through to them.
Three cheers to team Suhani, and we wish them more success!!

Sony TV's Suryaputra Karn

Sony TV’s Suryaputra Karn (Swastik Productions) is headed for the Kurukshetra war which will result in the Pandavas emerging victorious by defeating the Kauravas in the battle.

Well, the death of the protagonist of the show Karn (Gautam Rode) will take the viewers on a gloomy ride, but we hear that the show will not end with the death of the protagonist.
Yes, news trickling in is that post the Kurukshetra war, the show will proceed with Krishna (Saurabh Pandey) taking the centre stage, and the track will focus on how Krishna will eventually leave his body and ascend towards heaven.
This, for the TV viewing Indian audience, will be a unique track, as none of the shows have actually shown Krishna’s ‘ascend’.
A reliable source states, “The scriptures have a very interesting story, and Krishna leaving his body will have ‘connect’ with his avatar as Ram. And the track will spread the message of even Gods not able to escape the chakra of ‘karma’.”
As per Hindu mythology, Gandhari after the destruction of Kauravas will curse Krishna that he too will meet with his death.
Suryaputra Karn will soon take the track ahead post the war wherein Krishna will face the destruction of Dwaraka before his eyes. And one day, he will be hit by a hunter’s arrow on his only vulnerable part in the body, that of one foot. And when the hunter will be upset of hurting Krishna, he will tell him that this had to happen, as he as Rama had killed him in his earlier life, when he was Bali.
Sounds interesting, right? Are you ready to see this ‘unseen’ phase in Krishna’s life?
When contacted, Saurabh Pandey who essays the role of Krishna in the Sony TV show told us, “Well, there are lot of surprises, and this could be one of them.”
We tried buzzing Producer Siddharth Tewary, but could not get through to him.
