The upcoming episode of Bindass’ Emotional Atyachaar 4 (UTV Television) on 2 November will showcase a new story based on horrendous lies.

When love is true, distance does not matter, but when one makes distance as an option to get rid of a relationship, it certainly leads into heartbreak.

The show will present something on similar lines where Jatin, a young Delhi boy, who has enjoyed life to the fullest, experiences something that will change his perception of love and trust in a relationship.

While Jatin will be seen completing his graduation, he will fall in love with a girl named Urvashi, who is senior to him in college. The two meet for the first time when Urvashi comes as an invigilator during Jatin’s exams. Soon their acquaintance will progress into a healthy relationship.

SAB TV’s magical Jeannie (Rubina Dilaik) always keeps putting her Juju (Ali Asgar) in a fix in Jeannie Aur Juju (Eagle Film Production).

And this time she will leave no stone unturned when she will think of getting him inked, but this noble initiative will eventually backfire.

The upcoming episodes will see how Jeannie would want Juju to get himself tattooed. However, with him being on a constant denial mode, she will plan to magically tattoo him. This magic will eventually backfire when her magic will go wrong and Juju will incidentally get inked all over his body thereby looking like a tattoo man.

When we contacted Rubina for confirmation on the same, she stated, “Well, there is going to be a hilarious track rolled out where Juju will again be put in a spot. But I would not like to reveal the story and spoil the fun of it.”

Simple Kaul to enter SAB TV's Jeannie Aur Juju

Love will blossom once again on SAB TV’s show Jeannie aur Juju as an utterly romantic character will be introduced in the show. Popular television actor Simple Kaul is all set to make an entry in the serial and woo the audience with her sweet antics. Simple will be playing the character of Mooni, leader of Moonistan (Chaand).

Simple’s character Mooni represents the imaginary residents of Moonistan (Chand), who are believed to be very artistic, romantic and beautiful people and fall in love very easily.

Mooni possesses certain magical powers and also has a unique magic action like Jeannie. Speaking about her character, Simple says, “I am very happy with the way my character Mooni will be portrayed on screen. This is my dream character as I have been craving to play a fantasy character on screen. I can relate to Mooni and the concept of Moonistan completely, as I am die hard romantic person just like my on screen avatar.”

About the show, she says, “I have always enjoyed working on comedy shows. I am returning on SAB TV after exactly one year. It has always been a delight working with this channel as I enjoy a certain comfort level and ease in working here.”

It so happens that love finds its way towards Vicky (played by Ali Asgar) everywhere he goes. Mooni will fall in love with Ali, after hearing him singing a song for Jeannie, After having a ‘Jeannie’ from Jinnland fall in love with him, Vicky now will have a new admirer in the form of ‘Mooni’ from Moonistan!

Ali Asgar to quit SAB TV's Jeannie Aur Juju? Will the show survive or end?

SAB TV’s fantasy show Jeannie Aur Juju, produced by Eagle Films Productions seems to be bagging all the limelight via controversies related to its actors being unhappy with the show’s progress. Also, viewers were surprised when Giaa Maanek all of a sudden got replaced by Rubina Dilaik for the role of Jeannie. The very recent exit of Amit Tandon and Neha Mehta from the show has apparently left the boat sinking. And to add to it are the rumours of the show going off air in the near future.

We now hear that a final decision on whether the show will continue or end will be taken sometime next week.

If this is not enough, there is news doing rounds that the male lead Ali Asgar too wants to quit the serial. The reason being that he is not able to handle both Jeannie Aur Juju and his other popular Colors’ show Comedy Nights with Kapil. And it goes without saying that Colors must be paying him more as well.
Our source adds that Ali keeps telling his Jeannie co-stars that he is unhappy and would prefer to quit the project.

Apparently, Ali had also put in his papers when Giaa quit, but the producers cajoled him to stay on for a couple of months more. Now that the interim period is over, the creatives are again convincing Ali to stay on failing which they would decide to continue with the show with a replacement. In fact, there is also a buzz of him moving out of the show by 12 December, 2013.

Navina Bole who plays the role of Priya confirmed the news about the renewal talk happening with Ali, but did not know anything about the actor wanting to exit the show. “I don’t know if he is unhappy. We are a cool unit and I am sure things can be worked out if what you say is correct.” She further goes on to add that the ratings of Jeannie Aur Juju have gone up since the entry of Rubina.

We tried to get in touch with Ali but to no avail.

We then spoke to the producer Rajeev Mehra who denied everything and said, “The show will go on; the channel has not told me anything. I also don’t have any information about Ali wanting to leave; I will talk to him and ask.”

Although it has been a while since Giaa quit Jeannie Aur Juju, the rumours on the reasons related to her exit keep floating around. According to one such report, Giaa was asking too much money and was threatening to quit the show and take up another project, if her demands were not met. Hence the channel decided to replace her rather than succumbing to what they perceived as blackmail.

However, when we spoke to Giaa she rubbished the story adding, “I will not want to get into more detail. I am sure the truth will come out one day.”

A source close to Giaa though added that the allegations of blackmail are laughable, for today no one is indispensable. Was Giaa not replaced in her debut Star Plus show Saath Nibhaana Saathiya? Also she is not looking for any other show at the moment. She will take a break now that she is no longer doing Jeannie Aur Juju and will recharge her batteries before contemplating a comeback.

The same source further added that Giaa was not replaced as our above source’s assertion. She quit the show because the makers were asking her to continue after her contract expired at a much lower rate than what was paid to her before.

Well, with so many problems, will Jeannie Aur Juju remain afloat? If so, what are the immediate changes that the makers will come up with? 

Neha Mehta quits Jeannie Aur Juju

Nothing seems to be going right for Eagle Telefilms’ Jeannie Aur Juju at the moment.
Why do we say so?

Well, it was just recently when Giaa Maanek got replaced by Rubina Dilaik as Jeannie. And while the latter was trying to fit in the former’s shoes, Amit Tandon, who played Rahul on the show called it quits.
And now the latest is that Neha Mehta, better known as Jiya in the serial, has also quit the show.
Yes, the actress has put in her papers and if sources are to be believed, she will be making an exit from the serial by the end of this month or early next month.

When contacted, Neha confirmed the same and said, “Yes, I have put in my papers and I did this much before the Giaa episode.”
But why is she quitting the show?

“There is a surgery scheduled in my family for which I will have to go to Singapore and since this is a very personal affair, I wouldn’t want to comment more on this,” the actress informed.
Didn’t the producer of the show try to stop her? “They wanted me to stay back but I couldn’t. Producer Rajeevji (Mehra) is very understanding that way,” she averred.

Giaa Maanek out of Jeannie Aur Juju, Shivshakti Sachdev roped in as replacement

It’s chaos on the sets of SAB TV’s Jeannie Aur Juju!!!

Well, Tellychakkar.com has learnt that the show’s female lead Giaa Maanek has been asked to leave.

Like really? 

The answer is “yes”. 

Our sources have suggested that Giaa was acting way too pricey and after her starry tantrums touched sky high, the makers (Eagle Films) decided to let her go. 

“The show was supposed to end in this month. But it later got an extension of 50 episodes. But since sometime Giaa has been creating issues for the production house. She has been complaining about clothes, shooting timings and what not. Finally, with things going out of hand, she got sacked.”

We called up Giaa to learn more on the piping hot development and she said, “I will talk to you and my fans when the time is right.”

So who is replacing Giaa? Well, we have the answer…it’s none other than cute and petite Shivshakti Sachdev. Shivshakti gained fame playing the role of Bebo in the show Sabki Laadli Bebo. 

We called up Shivshakti and her dad answered the phone. Shivshakti was busy and her dad asked us to get back later, which we will do in coming time. 

Furthermore, we have also learnt that Amit Tandon (Rahul) has also stopped shooting for the show and actor Karan Goddwani (Johnny) will soon make a comeback. 

We also got in touch with SAB TV Head Anooj Kapoor and he also chose not to comment for he was “busy in a meeting”.

KD Pathak to solve a mystery of a 'pishach' in Sony TV's Adaalat

The popular law based show Adaalat (Contiloe Telefilms) on Sony Entertainment Television that has been entertaining viewers with some interesting cases will bring another challenging case for the talented lawyer KD Pathak (Ronit Roy).

The case will be from a very small village in UP where a couple of murders would take place. And an old lady who used to provide medication to the villagers will be accused of the murders.

They would say that as she had a tiff with the zamindar on a land issue and that made her curse the village. And because of that, a rakht pishach (vampire) has been created who goes about sucking blood of the people and killing them. The villagers will be enraged and pledge to kill the woman before she takes anymore life.

Scared the lady’s son will go to KD for help and plead him to start with the investigation. When KD will visit the village, he will find that the police don’t even cooperate with the victims. Also strangely the people will change their statements and everyone will be against her.

There will also be a tantrik in the village, whom KD will have a major suspicion on. KD will feel that he is the one who is instigating the villagers against the poor lady. Meanwhile Varun (Romit Raj) will suddenly disappear and people will claim that he has been taken away by the same pishach.

So what will KD do now? Will he manage to save Varun and solve this mystery?

K D Pathak to solve a mysterious murder case this weekend on Sony TV's Adaalat

Adaalat (Contiloe Telefilms), the popular law-based show on Sony Entertainment Television, will be back with a very interesting case this weekend.

The show, that has the serious defence lawyer KD Pathak (Ronit Roy) fighting for the right of victims of situation and the wrongly accused, has touched a chord with people.

In the coming episode, the case will revolve around a family that will happily move into a rented house. But in the evening, a strange occurrence will happen with them. The man of the house will be sitting on the dining table with his daughters for dinner. When he will call out to his wife, he will be shocked on getting no response from her. Suddenly the lights will go off and a silhouette will approach the man.

Seeing all this, the daughters will be scared and as the silhouette will approach the family, strange noises will be heard. Before the man or the children will be able to react, the shadow will be seen strangulating the man.
The girls will be shocked thinking that their mother killed their dad. And suddenly when the lights will come on, the man will be lying dead on the spot with his wife unconscious beside him.

With the police filing a case, KD will take up the woman’s side who will proclaim that she hasn’t killed her husband. She will further go on to say that she had seen a ghost in the house that attacked her husband. The daughters will also go against her saying that their mother killed their father although she loved him a lot.

Now KD will take upon himself to find the truth about this mysterious shadow- the real killer.

Romit Raj impresses Ronit Roy with his comeback avatar in Sony TV's Adaalat

The popular court room drama Adaalat (Contiloe Telefilms) on Sony Entertainment Television has been seeing a lot of interesting cases, and the current twist on the show has definitely taken the viewers for a surprise.

Romit Raj who played the assistant of the defence lawyer KD Pathak (Ronit Roy) was seen dead on the show. But now the actor will be back in the serial, and this time he will get a chance to don various avatars.
Ronit who himself has made a mark in the world of TV and Bollywood with his striking personality and acting prowess is lately impressed with his co-star Romit’s performance.

Exuding appreciation over his co-star’s work, Ronit Roy says, “I was in complete shock when I saw him. I think it is the most challenging role an actor can get but I am very confident that Romit will come up with bright colors.”

Talking about it Romit states, “I will come back with a bang and you will see me playing different characters in every episode. I hope I do justice with my character and wish audiences like me in my new experiment.”

Talented actor Rishi Khurana, who was last seen in Bani Ishq Da Kalma, will now be seen in the popular law based show Adaalat (Contiloe Telefilms) on Sony Entertainment Television.

The actor will be playing a public prosecutor in one of the episodics challenging KD Pathak (Ronit Roy). A lot of other actors have earlier played lawyers and battled with word with KD. 

We called up Rishi who confirmed the same and said, “I am currently shooting for the same and will be only be able to give further details later.”

Big names like Sayantani Ghosh, Manini Mishra, Rupali Ganguly, Rakshanda Khan, Gaurav Chopra and Karishma Tanna among others have previously played this part in earlier episodes.

SAB TV’s Chidiya Ghar is gearing up for some high voltage drama to enthrall its viewers.
Tellychakkar.com had recently reported about Paresh Ganatra aka Ghotak playing double role in the above show.

As per the plot, Ghotak’s look alike Sanam will soon enter the show. He would happen to be a mentally challenged man and would run away from his hospital. The asylum people will spot Ghotak on the streets, and get hold of him taking him as his duplicate.

On the other hand, Mayuri (Shafaq Naaz) will unknowingly bring Ghotak’s duplicate Sanam home.
Later, Sanam will fall in love with Mayuri, and ask her for marry him. This proposal would leave the entire Chidiya Ghar family shocked as Ghotak is already married to Koyal (Aditi Sajwan).

After a lot of drama, the family will learn about Sanam being the look alike of Ghotak. They will also get to know about Sanam’s past history on how his to-be-bride got burnt on their mandap and died.
To regain his memory, the Narayan family will plot Mayuri and Sanam's marriage and plan to have the same incident.

After a lot many actors, Aditi is the latest one to have moved out of the project.

So what will happen to her character, Natkhat Pari?

As Tellychakkar.com had earlier mentioned about the Adal-badal mirror track wherein Natkhat Pari will get killed by Bhayankar Pari (Shweta Kawatra). Hence this is how her role will come to an end.

Aditi confirmed the news and shared, “Yes, it’s true I am no more part of the show. The reason behind quitting Baal Veer is that I want to explore myself as an actor. It was almost a two year journey and I enjoyed working with everyone. I will surely miss everything about the show.”

Natkhat Pari to invent adal-badal mirror in SAB TV's Baalveer

Children’s favourite show SAB TV’s Baalveer (Optimystix Productions) is coming up with an exciting episode.

We all are aware that Natkhat Pari (Aditi Sajwan) keeps coming up with some magical invention.
And now in the coming episodes her brain will again pop out an interesting creation.

In the coming episode, Natkhat Pari (Aditi Sajwan) will discover adal-badal (swap) mirror. To try out its power, Baalveer (Dev Joshi) and Natkhat Pari will stand in front of it and their personalities will get swapped.

To make it simple, Baalveer would become Natkhat Pari and vice versa.

Like every time, Bhayankar Pari (Shweta Kawatra) will try to kill Baalveer but due to conversion, Natkhat Pari will meet with a life threatening situation.

So will Natkhat Pari die?

We tried getting in touch with Aditi Sajwan but she remained unavailable to comment.

Saloni to help Baalveer solve the 'mysterious Sunday case'

The on-going track of SAB TV’s Baalveer (Optimystix Productions) is extremely gripping and entertaining as it deals with a case of children forgetting Sundays out of the seven days in a week.

As per the telecast, Nakili Pari magically made all children forget Sundays. On the other hand a dragon picked up Baalveer (Dev Joshi) and dropped him back on earth from a height to hurt him. He then fired fireballs to kill the brave hearted superhero.

In the upcoming episodes, the story will get all the more interesting as even though Baalveer will save himself from the fire, there will be no way left to find a solution to the memory loss Nakili Pari magically practiced on the children.

It will be exciting for the viewers to watch how Baalveer would help the children out of the situation.

Informs a source, “Of all the children, Saloni (Shruti Bisht) will want to celebrate her birthday only on a
Sunday. To everyone’s benefit she will be the only one whom Nakili Pari would have missed performing magic on. She along with Baalveer will retrieve their memory.”

We contacted Dev stated, “This story will be edgy and dramatic which will keep the viewers waiting for more. I will not disclose as I want the viewers to have a hearty watch.”

Akshay Sethi to play a devilish magician in SAB TV's Baal Veer

Talented young lad Akshay Sethi is all set to enter SAB TV’s fantasy based show Baal Veer (Optimystix).
Akshay has featured in shows like Sasural Genda Phool, and recently did an episodic in CID.

In Baal Veer, he will play a magician with negative shades. He will be a nasty fellow who will steal costly valuables of kings, queens and paris.

He character will be called Mogambo Gobango.

Said he: “I am excited about the role as I will be seen wearing cool clothes, with a hat, green eye lenses and kohl. I will be devil personified in looks. The role will air for the next nine to ten episodes and I have commenced shooting from today.”

His entry will air coming Monday (3 February 2014).

Chhal Pari's entry to spice up the plot in SAB TV's Baal Veer

Sugandha Mishra aka Chhal Pari’s entry in SAB TV’s Baal Veer in the coming episode will spike up an exciting incident to entertain the fans.

As per what a source informs us, Chhal Pari will enter Prithvilok and pose as a threat to Meher. How? Let’s find out.

As per the powers Chhal Pari possesses, she can not only trick people but also convert herself into whatever she wants. Chhal Pari converts herself into a car and tries to ram over Meher (Anushka Sen), with the intention of killing her. Looking at this Baal Veer (Dev Joshi), the savior of children saves Meher.
Just as we think the story is going to end happily, there is another twist in the tale.

Just as Baal Veer saves her, he ends up dropping her close to a trench and witnessing this; the Paris get annoyed with Baal Veer and take away all his powers as a punishment.

We tried contacting Sugandha but she remained unavailable for comment. We hence contacted the lead, Dev Joshi who said, “Well, this episode will mark entry of Chhal Pari and she will pose a threat to Meher. I cannot reveal much apart from this.”

Baal Veer to apprehend the kidnappers in SAB TV's Baal Veer

 

As per the current track of SAB TV’s Baal Veer (Optimystix Productions), the superhero who intends to free the children held hostage by the kidnappers Mannu and Pannu, finds out that he has lost his magic wand.
On the other hand, Montu (Purvesh Pimple) happens to find the flying helmet left behind by Dooba Dooba (Shridhar Watsar) and him along with Manav (Rudra Soni) and Meher (Anushka Sen) fiddle with it.
Now when Baal Veer (Dev Joshi) does not have his wand, how will he save the children from Mannu and Pannu?

A source informs us that Manav will help Baal Veer by giving him the flying helmet by which he could get the kidnappers caught and free the kids at the same time.

When we contacted Dev Joshi, he said, “The kidnappers will definitely get caught but how, that is for you to watch and find out. I cannot comment on what will happen; all I can say is it would be interesting to find out how Baal Veer will catch hold of the kidnappers.”

Season 3 of The Buddy Project gets scrapped; Channel V to air two bi-weekly shows

Fans have been giving a mixed response to the news of Channel V’s popular show The Buddy Project coming up with a new and revamped season. The Sunshine Productions show was to bring a completely fresh storyline sans the girls and just the lead boys being retained from season two.
But here comes a shocker!

With just a few days to go for its airing (2 May), Tellychakkar.com has got to know that the season three of the show has been scrapped.

Yes, you heard it right! There will be no more of KD, Kiya, RV, Panchi, Piddi or Jaitley on your TV screen.
The show has been ruling hearts of the youth with the tale of a bunch of friends who have grown up together and now with them graduating from college, the characters were supposed to be shown settling down in their individual careers and opting for a new start in their lives.

We wondered if the decision to axe the show was the channel’s call, which is trying out new plots for its various shows, or by the production team who did not want happenings to go mundane in the show. Also with only few characters being retained, the audience seemed not really keen to watch the show anymore.

When we buzzed producer Sudhir Sharma he said, “All I can say is that it is a mutual creative decision between the channel and production team. The Buddy Project has enjoyed a successful run of over 400 episodes and been number one on the channel for a long time. We at Sunshine Productions are very happy and proud to have this association with Channel V. We will soon come up with more fresh and interesting shows.”

With this new development, Channel V will continue with the launch of the other two bi-weekly shows- Jhalli Anjali Ke Tootey Dil Ki Amazing Story and Yeh Jawani…Ta Ra Ri Ri in the 5:30 pm time slot.
These shows will go on air from 28 April and 30 April respectively as earlier reported by Tellychakkar.com.

The slot given to The Buddy Project will be covered by repeats of shows as of now till a new show gets sanctioned.

Prem Kamath, EVP and GM of the channel did not want to comment on the developments.

It would surely be a hard time for the fans to not be able to watch their favourite show and characters, but we are sure as Sudhir says there will be more interesting shows lined up for all.

Channel V's The Buddy Project completes 300 episodes

The Buddy Project (TBP) {Sunshine Productions}, the popular show on Channel V that went on air last year, has managed to find a place for itself in the long run of youth centric shows on our TV screens.
The show, that won the Best Youth Show in our own The Indian Telly Awards, added another feather to its cap yesterday when it completed 300 successful episodes.

Talking on the same Fahad Ali, who plays the most loved character of KD, tells us, “It indeed is a great feeling. And every time we cross a century, the feeling of happiness takes over adding more responsibility of taking the show further to greater heights. TBP is our baby and my journey in the show has been very interesting. I hope it goes on and on for years.”

Echoing Fahad’s thoughts, his on-screen best friend Piddi (Nikhil Mehta) says, “It is a very happy moment for all of us to have completed 300 episodes. It is a mammoth number for a youth show as you cannot go on stretching any subject for long as compared to daily shows. TBP has come as a fresh whiff in the air to the genre of youth centric shows and I am proud to be a a part of it.”

The show that started off with school kids and their friendship has now moved over to college where a group of friends are battling hard between their career dreams and relationships. But the core bonding of their friendship still remains intact.

The cast and crew got together for a fun moment yesterday evening and even cut a cake on the set.

A source informs, “Piddi will be asked to audition girls for the lead actress’ part and he will use this chance to flirt with them. He will be seen asking them on a date as a bribe to get the role.”
The filmmaker’s entry in the show will bring a lot of twists as the buddies will get together to produce an entertaining film that will be very close to their heart. And every one among the group will get to play an important part.

We called up Nikhil who confirmed the sequence, and sounding embarrassed he said, “Yes, Piddi will finally get to flirt legally with the girls and the best part is some girls would actually give him some importance too.”

The weekend will get special on Sony Entertainment Television’s Kaun Banega Crorepati (Big Synergy Productions) as the legendary host Amitabh Bachchan will be visited by the beautiful Kajol and the four finalists of Indian Idol Junior for the Children’s Day special episodes.

Tonight (9 November) the entertainment quotient will just get a notch higher as the young superstars of Indian Idol Junior will serenade the audience with some foot tapping medleys. As the young crooners will sing the popular Kajra Re, the Shahehshah of Bollywood will be seen matching steps with them on the signature step of the song. Google boy, Kautilya Pandit recently shot for the popular quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) {Big Synergy} on Sony Entertainment Television. And apart from testing his own intelligence, the young lad got a chance to match steps with the host of the show, the legendary Amitabh Bachchan.

Kautilya will be seen putting his vast knowledge to test in the upcoming ‘Children’s day’ special episode of KBC. The gifted child will be seen leaving Big B and the audience stunned with his remarkable intelligence. 
Though the five-year old will put his grey cells to test, he won’t be playing for money.

He will also express his desire to dance with the senior Bachchan. And the Shahenshah will be more than happy to oblige his wish and the duo will be seen moving to the beats of the popular song 'Lungi dance' from Chennai Express.

The Children’s Day celebration on Kaun Banega Crorepati (Sony Entertainment Television) turned out to be special for hundreds of children as Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan made a very special appearance on the show. 

It was dream come true for hundreds of school children as Aamir Khan paid a surprise visit on KBC. Aamir who was shooting nearby for ‘Dhoom 3’ dropped on the sets to meet Bachchan who was shooting for the Children’s day special episode. 

Dressed in a simple tee, capri and chappals; a very casually clad Aamir dropped by to meet Big B and in turn surprising hundreds of enthusiastic school children. When AB informed Aamir about his ardent fan Ismit, he immediately made his way towards the hot seat and shook his hand. He later chatted with AB about the show and his upcoming film.

Ankita Sharma all set to play a pivotal role in Colors' Rang Rasiya

Fans of actress Ankita Sharma have a reason to rejoice, as she will soon be back on TV with yet another plump role. After winning over the audiences’ hearts as the lead of Amrit Manthan, Ankita will now be seen as the negative lead in Colors’ upcoming show Rang Rasiya.

A source tells us that the character, that of Laila will be bold and daring. She will be something like a Rekha in the movie Muqaddar Ka Sikandar who is devoted to the male lead (Ashish Sharma). She will have strong negative shades to portray.

The shoot of Saurabh Tewari’s much-expected show on Colors ‘Rang Rasiya’ kick-starts in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan amidst great expectations. And as our readers would know, Tellychakkar.com has been constantly reporting about the rich cast that is being added to the show, produced by Nautanki Telefilms with every passing day.

Recently, we wrote about Vishal Gandhi being roped in for a promising role. And now we have the news of veteran actor Ajay Rohilla playing a very important cameo role in Rang Rasiya. Rohilla was last seen playing a cameo in Star Plus’ Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara.

As per sources, he will play a character who will create all the drama and thereby thicken the plot with some unusual twists and turns. Ajay Rohilla and Kali Prasad Mukherjee will play fathers of the two leads in the show, is what we get to hear.

Another important name that we hear is of senior actor Atul Srivastav’s. Sources inform us that talks are presently on with the actor, and if things go as planned, he will essay a fatherly role, yet another important character in the story line. Atul Srivastav was last seen in Zee TV’s Afsar Bitiya.

We tried contacting Ajay Rohilla, but he remained unavailable for comment.
Atul Srivastav on the other hand said, “Talks are on for the show. But there is nothing concrete at the moment.”

And here we get you one more name that has been added to the cast.

Well, the latest artiste to be a part of this political drama is Syed Zafar Ali, who was last seen as an inspector in Zee TV’s Punar Vivah- Ek Nayi Umeed and as a commando in Colors’ 24.

The show will have Syed play a BSF Major. As a matter of fact, he will be the one to rope in Ashish Sharma (the lead of the show) in his team.

Earlier, Syed has majorly done cameos, but this time he plays an extended role.

When we contacted the actor, he said, “Yes, I am a part of the show.”

As reported earlier, Sanaya Irani, Ananya Khare, Tarun Khanna and Sadia Siddiqui are also a part of this project.

Sadiya Siddiqui joins the cast of Rang Rasiya on Colors

Tellychakkar.com has been exclusively reporting about Nautanki Telefilms’ upcoming show Rang Rasiya on Colors. With big names Ashish Sharma, Sanaya Irani, Barkha Bisht, Tarun Khanna, Ananya Khare being on board, the makers have now roped in yet another powerful performer in Sadiya Siddiqui. 

Sadiya, who was last seen portraying the very sensitive yet strong character of Radha in Star Plus’ Sasural Genda Phool, will play the rich and classy Rajmata in Rang Rasiya. 

If sources are to be believed, Sadiya will play a poetess and painter, a lady who has a lot to give and is passionate about many things. She will marry a person who has the least of interests to her passions and thus, ends up having a troubled marriage. 

When contacted, Sadiya told us, “I have also heard that they want me in the project. But I have not yet signed on the dotted lines.”

Amrita Rao's sister Preetika Rao to play lead in Fortune Productions' next for Colors

Acclaimed Writer Farhan Salaruddin debuted as Producer with the crisp and unique show Beend Banoonga Ghodi Chadunga on Imagine TV. The producer will now return to the limelight with yet another interesting concept, for Colors, under his banner Fortune Productions.

The show will be a Muslim social drama. Farhan’s show along with Saurabh Tewari’s (Nautanki Telefilms) Rang Rasiya, featuring Ashish Sharma and Sanaya Irani as leads, will fill the time slot when Bigg Boss season 7 ends.
Coming back to Farhan’s show, we hear that Bollywood actress Amrita Rao’s younger sister Preetika Rao will play the lead. Preetika who has been an important find for Colors will apparently feature in Anil Kapoor’s thriller 24 in due course of time.

A source tells us that her work in 24 caught the eyes of the channel and the pretty looking actress suited well into the character of a Muslim girl for the new show on Colors.

We also hear that new face Harshad will play the male lead in this social drama.
When contacted, Producer Farhan S refused to comment.

Sanaya Irani's next show by Saurabh Tiwari has titled Rang Rasiya!

The news about Sanaya Irani bagging the lead role in Saurabh Tiwari's next production spread like fire few days back in the telly world. The show is slated to air on Colors channel, where the production house’s (Nautanki Telefilms) popular show Madhubala-Ek Ishq Ek Junoon is already stealing the thunder.

Now, latest is gathered that the show has been titled Rang Rasiya, which will depict a love story of a girl who madly loves a boy, but that boy denies the relationship. According to the sources, “The show is named as Rang Rasiya and will be visually very appealing. It is supposed to get the prime time slot and may go on air sometime in December after Bigg Boss Saath 7 gets over.”

The title seems to be inspired by Ketan Mehta's film based on the legendary painter Raja Ravi Verma. Going by the title the show does promise to bring additional color and add multicolored hues to the storyline of a couple. For the lead role, Sanaya Irani has been approached for the show, but nothing has been confirmed as yet. Sanaya went on a long holiday with family to the US after her last show Chhanchhan went off air.

While talking about the male lead character, Sanaya’s real life boyfriend Mohit Sehgal has been approached for the lead role. Mohit earlier played opposite Sanaya in Miley Jab Hum Tum that aired on Star One.

Sony TV - Comedy Circus Ke Mahabali

Sony TV's Comedy Circus Ke Mahabali to end; Producers working on a new format

It’s pack-up time for Sony Entertainment Television’s Comedy Circus Ke Mahabali (Optimystix Productions).

The show had been failing to get decent TRPs for the last few months with the GEC space being bombarded with other comedy shows like Comedy Nights With Kapil (Colors) and Mad In India (Star Plus). Hence, the channel finally decided on pulling the plug last week.

Currently the show has an episodic bank hence; it should air till the end of this month.
We also hear that the production has told the artists that it will come back with its next season (revamped) soon but there is no clarity on it yet.

RJ Mantra confirmed and said, “Yes, the show is going off-air as of now but we will be back after two month’s break.”

When asked if they were informed about the show going off-air just three days before their last shoot he denied it and went on to add, “Talks were on for four to five months on re-vamping the show. We’ve been running the same format for seven years now (the show will complete 8 years on 31 March). But, the idea was to re-vamp it while the show was still on.”

Why the break? “It got difficult to work on a new concept while on-air and that’s when the break came in the picture.”

Will the new format be on the lines of Comedy Nights With Kapil? “Most of the new shows are inspired from the west whereas Comedy Circus is original. In fact, Kapil’s show itself is taken from Kumar’s at No. 42. So, we will be back with an original format.”

Bollywood 'mimicry special episode' on Sony TV's Comedy Circus Ke Mahabali

Comedy Circus on Sony Entertainment Television has been on air for quite a long time now as it has never stopped to please viewers when it comes to its interesting and hilarious concepts and gags.

And this weekend gear up to watch a mimicry special episode in the Optimystix Production show where the performers will be seen enacting famous Bollywood personalities and movies to celebrate Arbaaz Khan’s last episode as a judge in the series. Post Arbaaz’s exit, brother Sohail Khan will be seen as the judge along with Archana Puran Singh.
The episode will start with Bharti and Siddharth’s spoof on the popular film Mohabbatien where the chubby comedian will play the role of Amitabh Bachchpan (Younger Big B) and Siddharth as Shah Rukh Khan. Bharti will take the stage by storm when she will create humour with her noisy shoes.

The new Punjabi version of Deewar will have everyone in splits with Thakur playing the role of Shashi Kapoor and Balraj as Big B. The fun will elevate to newer heights when Nana Patekar played by Sudesh Lahiri will throw a party for Bollywood actors and Krushna will add to the madness by essaying the role of Anil Kapoor. His hilarious personification of the jhakkas actor will make everyone jump out of their seats with laughter.

This is not all! Mubeen, Mantra and Jamie’s spoof on the movie Saudagar will be the highlight of the evening. Mantra as Dilip Kumar, Mubeen as Raj Kumar and Jamie as Ila Arun will have everyone rolling on the floor with laughter.

The set of Comedy Circus Ke Mahabali (Optimystix Productions) on Sony Entertainment Television has always been a hotspot for celebrities and film promotion. After Ranveer Singh, it’s time for the very beautiful Kangana Ranaut to make an appearance in the show to promote her upcoming film Rajjo along with her co-star Paras Arora.

The talented duo Bharti Singh and Krushna Abhishek greeted them on the show and presented a humouros act. Paras who had prior commitments went off after wishing the contestants good luck. Kangana then joined the judges Archana Puran Singh and Arbaaz Khan. 

The elegant actress was in splits throughout the show and was extremely delighted to be there. She also made her way to the stage danced with Bharti and Krushna after their acts. She also sizzled the stage with her dance on Jhulmi re jhulmi from her film.

Yesterday we reported about the sexy Ranveer Singh coming on Sony Entertainment Television’s Comedy Circus Ke Mahabali (Optimystix Productions) to promote his upcoming film Ram-Leela.

Well, this Children Day’s special episode will also have some young funny artists performing. And giving them company will be the adorable Amrita Mukherjee who played the cute Pihu in the channel’s popular show, Bade Achhe Lagte Hain (Balaji Telefilms).

To celebrate Children’s Day the show will air this special episode where all the Mahabali contestants will perform with a child artist. Amrita will be paired with funny man Mantra and the talented Jamie J.

Ranveer Singh to show off his Leela in Comedy Circus Ke Mahabali!

Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh will see taking year’ most anticipated Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film Ram Leela to the sets of Sony Entertainment Television’s sitcom show Comedy Circus Ke Mahabali, which is being judged by Archana Puran Singh and Arbaaz Khan.

Ranveer will visit the show alone, despite the report that his co-star Deepika Padukone would also join him. The episode featuring Ranveer has shot yesterday, 24 October 2013 and is expected to air this weekend.

About his presence on the show, sources said Ranveer was very excited as he is a follower of the show and had a great time when he visited the set last time. He promoted Sonakshi Sinha starrer Lootera on the show.

Meanwhile, Ram Leela star Deepika Padukone visited Ahmedabad. She displayed a photo frame with a portrait of her and actor Ranveer Singh during the press conference held to promote her film, which is schedule to be released on Nov 15.
