Chitralekha to abduct Lord Krishna's grandson Anirudh in Life OK's Mahadev

Life OK’s Devon Ke Dev… Mahadev (Triangle Films Company) will now see an interesting track wherein Chitralekha (Bhavna Khatri) will abduct Anirudh (Malhar Pandya) for the sake of her best friend Usha (Tapeshwari Grewal).

As per the ongoing track, the introduction to the new character Chitralekha has been shown. The role played by Bhavna Khatri, last seen in Zee TV’s Bh Se Bhade, is that of a minister in the kingdom of Banasur (Vikramjeet Virk).
She would also happen to be the best friend of Banasur’s daughter, Usha. Usha has fallen in love with Lord Krishna’s grandson Anirudh, played by Malhar Pandya, who was last seen playing the role of Hanuman in Zee TV’s Ramayan.
Chitralekha, who would have uncanny knowledge of sketching people and also to make people appear and disappear at will, will be of great help to Usha in uniting with her soul mate.

In the episodes to come, Usha will request Chitralekha to draw a sketch of the man she has seen in her dreams and has fallen for. Chitralekha will draw the sketch of Anirudh, and will go on a lookout for the man.

A source states, “Anirudh’s entry will happen at his place wherein he would be learning the art of using a mace from his grandfather Balram (Arbaaz Ali Khan). Chitralekha will abduct Anirudh from the place and will bring him before Usha.”

This abduction by Chitralekha will actually result in a war that will break out between Banasur and Lord Krishna.

When contacted, Bhavna Khatri who has been seen in the shows Kis Desh Main Hai Meraa Dil, Jamunia, Pardes Mein Nikla Hoga Chand said, “This is the first time I am being part of a mythological show. It is a challenge in itself to play a character which is not relatable. The team of Mahadev is fun to work with, and I am loving every scene that I am shooting.”

Malhar Pandya too told us, “The track in Mahadev will now see the abduction of Anirudh, grandson of Lord Krishna.
After playing Hanuman in Zee TV’s Ramayan, it is fruitful to be part of Mahadev. I will have a significant track in the coming days.”

Ujjwal Chopra, Gungun Uprari and Rishi Khurana roped in for Life OK's Mahadev

 

Life OK’s Devon Ke Dev…Mahadev (Triangle Film Company) will see the entry of three actors. The faces in concern are Ujjwal Chopra, Gungun Uprari and Rishi Khurana.

Now, Ujjwal and Gungun will be a part of the same track. It will revolve around the tale of a King and Queen. Their kingdom will be cursed due to which people will suffer from a rare skin disease.

The King will issue a command stating that anyone suffering from the disease will have to leave the kingdom. But in an irony of fate, the King too will catch the disease. This is when the Queen will pray to Mahadev (Mohit Raina) to solve the problem.

The roles of the King and Queen will be played by Ujjwal and Gungun, respectively.

“It’s a good show and I am glad that I am a part of it,” shares Gungun with Tellychakkar.com.
Ujjwal remained unavailable.

Now, in another sub plot, Rishi Khurana will play the role of Nahush, Mahadev’s son-in-law, who will dethrone Devraj Indra. The story will rightly showcase Rishi’s strong acting abilities.

Talking on the same, Rishi avers, “This is the first time I am doing a mythological show and I am really excited. The team is a great one and although it’s tiring, it’s a learning experience.”

The sequences will go on air from tonight.

Life OK's Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev all set to celebrate Mahashivratri

On the special occasion of Mahashivratri, how can we not talk about the much celebrated mythological presentation by Life OK, Devon Ke Dev…Mahadev (Triangle Films Company).

Well, Mohit Raina has gained much fame through his fabulous performance as the protagonist character of Shiva on the show. While loyal fans of the show belonging to all age groups misinterpret his Godly character as Shiva in real life too, the makers will present a special track to celebrate Mahashivratri on the show.

As per the ongoing track, Mahadev (Mohit Raina) becomes furious on reminiscing about Sati (Mouni Roy) while Lord Vishnu (Saurabh Raj Jain) predicts to Narad that Mahadev may meet his devotees on Shivratri.

The upcoming episodes of the show will witness on how after a lot of search and request to the lords of the universe, Nandi (Kumar Hegde) will finally come face to face with Mahadev. He along with his followers will touch his feet and pray to him following rituals in Kailash.

We contacted Mohit Raina aka Mahadev who confirmed the developments saying, “It will be nice to see how Devon 
Ke Dev…Mahadev celebrates Mahashivratri as the track unfolds.”

However, when asked if the handsome actor Mohit aka Mahadev has observed a fast today, he politely replied saying,
“I have not observed a fast today.”

Kanishka Soni roped in to play Sati's sister in Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev

Kanishka Soni, who was last seen in Life OK’s Do Dil Ek Jaan, was a tad disappointed when the show was wrapped up abruptly. However, she’s on ‘cloud nine’ at the moment as she has bagged the pivotal role of Sati’s sister in Triangle Films Company’s popular show Devon Ke Dev.. Mahadev on Life OK.

As we know, the track of Sati, essayed by Mouni Roy is being brought back on the show. And Kanishka will now be playing the character of Raveti, Sati’s sister.

When contacted, Kanishka told Tellychakkar.com, “Yes, talks are on. But I have not been finalized yet.”

We hear that Kanishka will start shooting for the show from tomorrow. And with this new track being introduced, viewers will yet again get to see the powerful on-screen chemistry of Mahadev (Mohit Raina) and Sati. For the uninitiated, Mohit and Mouni fell in love in real life during the course of Mahadev’s shooting.

Getting back to Kanishka, she has been seen in Diya Aur Baati Hum and few south films.

Lakulesh to insult Mata Parvati in Life OK's Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev

Life OK’s super-hit mythological show Devon Ke Dev…Mahadev (Triangle Film Production) has been entertaining the audience with its amazing tracks and great visual effects.

The latest track that presents Lakulesh is very enthralling as it introduces him as Mahadev’s (Mohit Raina) greatest follower.

Now that he is back to visit Mahadev after several years of meditation, Lakulesh is unaware of the fact that the Lord is a married deity with three children Kartikeya (Rushiraj Pawar), Ganesha (Ehsaan Bhatia) and Ashoka (Ahsaas Channa).

Earlier, viewers have seen an extremely emotional bonding between Mahadev and Lakulesh, as the latter has been feeding prasad to Shiva’s idol while Mahadev disguises himself as Bhola and helps the former to consume the Maansarovar jal. On realising that it was none other than Mahadev who helped him consume the jal, Lakulesh decides to visit Kailash and meet him personally.

The upcoming episodes of the show will witness how Parvati (Pooja Bose) will introduce herself as another devotee of the Lord when Lakulesh will visit Kailash. In turn, Lakulesh will insult her for her possessiveness towards Mahadev.

While Kartikeya will try to interfere in order to teach Lakulesh a lesson for being arrogant towards his mother, Parvati will be seen dealing with the situation patiently so that Lakulesh’s feelings don’t get hurt in any way.

The track will take an interesting turn when the truth will get disclosed to Lakulesh and he will be seen accepting the truth and apologizing to Godmother Parvati.

Bhramridevi to end Arunasur’s life in Life OK's Mahadev

The ongoing track of Life OK’s Devon Ke Dev…Mahadev (Triangle Film Company) focuses on Mahadev (Mohit Raina) motivating and blessing Kartikey (Rishiraj Pawar) to fight against Arunasur (Rahul Dev).

As seen, Kartikey challenges Arunasur to fight with him, but the latter refuses to accept the challenge. Kartikey tries to attack Arunasur, but Arunasur succeeds in defending himself. Arunasur takes Kartikey to his kingdom, in order to revive his mother and on seeing the dead body of Arunasur's mother, Kartikey stops fighting with him. Kartikey, in turn promises him that he will convince the Gods and bring back Arunasur’s mother and seeing this Shiva (Mohit Raina) and the other Gods are in for a major shock.

Well, the coming episodes of the show will add on to the inquisitiveness of the viewers and spice element in the show.

A source informs us that Kartikey will get into a major argument with his father, Mahadev, demanding him to breathe life into Arunasur’s mother without realizing that it is an emotional trap laid upon him by the evil Arunasur. While Mahadev and the other Gods try to explain him the fact, the show will witness a whole lot of melodrama on the same.

Will Mahadev grant the stubborn child, Kartikey his wish to help Arunasur?

The answer is ‘no’.

More drama will unfold with Mahadev leading the fight which was put down by Kartikey. But with Lord Bhrama’s
(Radha Krishna Dutt) blessing upon him that no human, God or a four legged creature will be able to kill Arunasur, Mahadev won’t be able to kill Arunasur.

Quite interestingly, Devi Parvati will transform herself into Bhramridevi, a six legged huge creature and will end up killing malevolent Arunasur, a scene which will finally hit another mind-blasting chord with its audience.

Rishiraj Pawar. who essays the role of Kartikey, says, “It will be an interesting watch for the viewers to see how Arunasur gets killed.”

Rahul Dev finalised as Demon Arunasur in Devon Ke Dev....Mahadev

Devon ke Dev… Mahadev, a mythological wonder that has enthralled the nation with its strong cast and a stronger narration, is set to create another benchmark on Indian Television. After approaching a host of veteran actors like Danny Denzongpa, Mithun Chakaborty and Jackie Shroff, Life OK has confirmed Rahul Dev for the role of Demon Arunasur in the popular series. This also marks the actor’s entry on Television.

Rahul, who is well known for essaying negative roles in various movies, will be seen as the negative lead Arunasur who will battle against Lord Shiva played by India’s favourite on-screen God Mohit Raina.

Rahul said, “I’m very excited to debut on Indian Television with the most popular series Devon Ke Dev… Mahadev. My character, Arunasur, will be nothing like what’s currenlty seen on Television. He will have a distinctive personality and will showcase various shades of grey. I’m quite excited to play this character as it has tremendous potential and will definitely leave a mark behind.”

As per the story, Arunasur is an extremely powerful being who is constantly trying to bring his mother back to life. He respects the elements that govern the universe, but not the Gods that represent them. In a bid to overpower Bhooteshwar Mahadev, he captures the five Devtas - Soorya, Chandra, Agni, Varun and Pawan Dev, and thus begins his war against Mahadev.

Rahul Dev will be seen portraying the role of Demon Arunasur starting December.

Jaya Bhattacharya roped in for Life OK’s Mahadev

Class and talent are permanent and the saying stands true for enigmatic television actress Jaya Bhattacharya.
And now Jaya is all set to pour her acting prowess upon Life OK’s popular mytho series, Mahadev (Triangle Films Company). 

Tellychakkar.com has learnt that she has signed the dotted lines to dole out a cameo performance in the above show.
Said Jaya: “Yes I will be seen in Mahadev. I will be playing the role of Diti, one of Rishi Kashyap’s wives. It will be a cameo and I am very happy to play the character. It’s my Diwali gift. I like watching Mahadev and being a part of it gives me immense pleasure.”

A source further added that Diti will be the mother of asuras. She will be of the opinion that she has been dealt in an inappropriate way when compared to her sister Aditi who is the mother of devas.

Jaya has already started shooting for Mahadev and her entry will air today or tomorrow. The actress is also a part of Sony Entertainment Television’s Maharana Pratap.

Malla to die in Life OK's Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev

Sudesh Berry’s journey in Life OK’s Devon Ke Dev…Mahadev (Triangle Film Company) is finally coming to an end. It is in this show that Sudesh played a dual role of Manni and Malla.

As per the ongoing track, Mahalsa (Pooja Bose) killed Manni, the twin brother of Malla and now she has vowed to kill Malla. On the other hand, the latter vents his anger when he recalls about Manni and thinks of waging a war. Resultantly, the upcoming episode will witness a battle between the armies of Mahalsa and Malla.
So who will win the war?

When Tellychakkar.com asked actor Sudesh about the same, he said, “The righteous always triumphs over evil; that’s an established fact. Therefore Malla will die. I have completed my role with Devon Ke Dev…Mahadev and am currently focusing on my character role of Draupad in Star Plus’ Mahabharat who marks his entry tentatively by 15 November.”

Now let’s wait and watch as to what happens after Malla dies in the show!!!

Devon Ke Dev Mahadev will probably go off air this December!

The mythological show Devon Ke Dev Mahadev, which ruled millions of hearts for more than a year, is reportedly coming to an end. There is no denying that Mahadev has given a new horizon to small screen and has set a benchmark in Indian television world with its larger than life narration and visuals. But as they say every good thing comes to an end, Mahadev will also say goodbye to its loyal followers in December this year.

As per the sources, “Mahadev will probably go off air in the month of December. Earlier the makers were contemplating on the closure of the show. However, with constant dipping TVTs and no attractive story to narrate it has been decided that the show will be pulled off air by end of 2013.”

Sources also said that Nikhil Sinha’s upcoming shows Ganesh Leela, Hatim and one untitled project will take the time slot of Mahadev. Ajit Thakur, general manager and content development for Life OK once said in an interview that Mahadev is on air since Life OK's conception and it will definitely be painful for the channel and the makers to bid adieu to their child. If any of the Life OK show goes off air but still has a huge fan following, it will be brought back on public demand.

While on the other side, when talked about the same to the producer of Mahadev, Nikhil Sinha, he said, “That's not true. The show was going through a dip few months an ago. But now Mahadev is back in action and hope it rules for another one year.”

But producers of Mahadev, Triangle Film Company, other side have also promised to keep audience entertained with their new show Hatim.

Navratri Special – Mata’s Fifth Incarnation showing up in Devon ke Dev Mahadev

During the auspicious occasion of Navratri, TV serials are trying hard to woo the audiences. Life OK’s popular show Mahadev is not left behind. Since it is one of the leading Mytho shows on small screen, it is showing navratri special episodes depicting the importance and grandeur of all the avatars of Maa Durga.

It’s not been long when the makers of the show were playing a Ramayana track parallel to Lord Shiva and Parvati’s story. But now it seems that due to low TRPs the story line is back to Kailash Paravat and a new twist of Malla-Mani and Maa Kaali has been curated. This track has surely attracted the viewers which will reach its crescendo on the day of Dussehra. It is heard that Lord Ram and Sita will also return during that track. But how Maa Kaali will come back to Parvati’s avatar that is still a mystery.

Though Lord Mahadev has taken Aghori avatar to save his wife from the demons yet it looks like that it’s not going to be an easy task for the lord.

In the recent episode we saw that while Mata Parvati is in Kali roop in Malla-Mani’s rajya. Mahadev on Kailsah Parvat are telling about Parvati’s all avatars to his children. Coming on to her fifth incarnation, Mahadev tells Kartikeya and Ganesha that King Himavan will explain about Parvati’s fifth avatar. King Himavan tell them that it is known as Skandmata arthat ” Kartikay ki Mata“ . He tells them how great this avatar is and then Rishi Brihaspati names Parvati’s sixth incarnation as Katyayini.

Ganesha gets more curious and asks Mahadev about Mata’s seventh avatar and why no one is talking about it. Mahadev tells them that is Kalratri which is one of the most fearful and angry avatar of Mata. Mahadev knows that he has to bring her back before evil Malla-Mani take advantage of Mata.

It so happened that in an unintentional situation Ganga upsets Parvati who leaves Kailash and says that she will only return when Mahadev will take a human form and convince her to come back. Meanwhile, somewhere in the southern part of India, Malla-Mani who are tantriks come to know about Parvati being unstable and has left Kailash in anguish.

Ganga tries to stop Parvati but is unable to do so. Parvati turns Mahakali on her way down South when she enters the territory of Malla- Mani. The two brothers somehow manage to pacify Mahakali who agrees to stay back in their region but she is unaware that they intend to keep her captive and use her powers.

Brahma devta is worried and informs about this to Mahadev. Rishi Brigu silently prays to Mahadev that only he can save Mata. Mahakali is furious and enters Malla’s cave where devotees are praying to her.

Mahadev gets tensed and he says this time he will have to use some other method as Mahakali has decided to stay back in Malla- Mani’s rajya on her own. Hence he takes the human form of Kapaal Dhaari Aghori. Recently we saw how Aghori kills a demon and saves Mata’s statue. Mata on the other hand is realizing her power and is becoming stable. Malla-Mani are little worried about her.

The show is on a very gripping track and the entire unit along with the actors are making sure that they leave no stone unturned to make it edgy. Lot of hard work is being put in to make every episode a success.

Both Pooja and Mohit had to physically and mentally prove themselves during the shooting of Maha episode. To get into Kali’s avatar, Puja had to paint her body blue. She had to wear a garland of skulls, weighing around five kilos.

It took the make-up artistes about four hours to paint Puja’s body. Since Maa Kali’s tongue is always red, she also had to pop a pill which turned her tongue blood red. With her tongue colored, Puja was not supposed to drink fluid or eat through the entire shoot. The team shot for 11 hours with just one break.

Puja says, “It was an opportunity of a lifetime. I was not keeping too well and was not in the right frame of mind to shoot, but once I went on the floors — complete with the body paint and garland, I was fine. It seemed as if Maa Kali had blessed me. I hope people appreciate the hard work that Mohit and I have put in for this episode.”

What will Mahadev do in the Kapaal Dhaari form will be interesting to watch out? The Maha episode is set to air on 29th September at 8 pm on Life OK. I am excited to watch it and I am sure you will also not forget to tune in.

Mahayudh in Maha episode of Devon Ke Dev Mahadev!

The most admired and appreciated mythological show by critics and audience Devon Ke Dev Mahadev, which is being produced by Triangle Telefilms, is set for another major twist and a graphical treat for the daily buffs through its upcoming Maha episode. There will be a mahayudh in the special episode, where evil Andhak (Manav Gohil), is to be killed by Mahadev (Mohit Riana) and his wife Parvati (Pooja Bose) itself.

So far it is seen that Shukracharya (Darshan Gandas) is trying his best to explain Andhak about how wrong his love is towards Parvati. However, he is not in a frame of mind to understand anything rather proudly blowing his own trumpet that he will manage to defeat Mahadev and get Parvati to love him back.

“Shukracharya after unsuccessful attempts finally warns him that if Adi Shakti (Parvati) would even get a whiff of this, she herself would kill him.Now in the upcoming episodes of Mahadev, the viewers will see Shiv visiting Andhak and explaining him about the consequences of loving his wife Parvati but Andhak would refuse to budge and instead go on to challenge him. This is when Mahadev and Parvati will take the strong step of finally killing Andhak,” added sources.

Manav Gohil, about the track said, “Andhak will finally get a taste of his own medicine. This will be a lesson for the society that at the end negativity will get eradicated from the society.”
