'Team CID' celebrates its '17 years' run with a grand party
It was a ‘proud moment’ for everyone on the sets of Fireworks Productions’ popular long-running show CID!! Well, the entertainment-filled Sony Entertainment Television show has now set foot into its 18th year, and Producer B.P. Singh had called for a grand gala celebration on the sets yesterday (28 January).
We hear that the producers made sure that they invited every crew member, of the past as well as present to be part of this occasion. Also, the fact that many crew members who were part of the team on the ‘day one’ of CID are still associated with the show, gave way for a lot of nostalgic moments.
A source says, “CID has created records as it enters its 18th year of run. And a cake with the number ‘18’ embodied on it was cut by the team. All the actors associated with the show were also present.”
An elated Producer B.P. Singh told Tellychakkar.com, “Yes, it is a remarkable achievement, and I must say that CID will be the first ever show which has such loyal and dedicated crew and cast members. Hats off to all of them for being loyal to the show for 17 long years. We shared nostalgic moments as we started to recollect the day when Shivaji Satam entered the show, and when Daya and Aditya came on board the show. Even today, all the actors are so humble and down-to-earth. It is really a wonderful feeling, to take CID further into its 18th year.”

Suyyash, Kishwer and Arjun in Sony TV's CID
Television show integrations have surely become a common and popular practice. And Sony Entertainment Television that launched its first of a kind sports reality show Box Cricket League (Balaji Telefilms) will soon see an integration sequence with its most popular show CID (Fireworks Productions).
The sequence will see popular faces Suyyash Rai and Kishwer Merchantt from Delhi Dragons and Arjun Bijlani from Ahmedabad Express getting involved in a mysterious crime story in one of its coming episodes.
The sequence will have the trio travelling towards their match when suddenly their car would hit a girl. Thankfully the girl would not be hurt and she would take them to a nearby godown where her sister would be kept captive and request them to help her. But the actors won’t find the sister there and approach the CID cops to intercede.
Will the mystery get solved? Will the actors manage to reach the match in time?
We spoke to Suyyash who confirmed his presence and added, “We are really excited to be a part of
CID, since it is a really popular show. Also the story is an interesting one and we are looking forward to the shoot.”

Sony TV's CID to churn out 'Hardcore Forensics' series in October
Fireworks Productions’ long-running show CID on Sony Entertainment Television is planning to have a fully blown-out series on ‘Hardcore Forensics’ very soon!!
As of now, the popular show will air a two episode story on ‘Narishakti’ with Rashami Desai, which will correlate with the Navratri Durga celebrations. Post this, the maker and channel are working on a six episodes series which will deal with complicated forensic concepts, which have never been seen before on Indian TV.
A reliable source tells us, “A lot of research work is being done right now, wherein the team is brainstorming on the forensic stories that can be shown. Many never-said-before facts on how poison can get into the system of a person through the hair and many such unheard but true facts will be presented to the audience.”
Once the team finalizes on the six stories for the series, the casting for the same will happen. The Forensic series will be on air in October.

CID team to shoot during the Kite Festival in Ahmedabad
Ahmedabad,
the Kite Capital of Gujarat is gearing up in style to welcome the
summer. With the festival of Uttarayan to kick-start (the harvesting
season) with Makar Sankranti, television is ready to capture the
grandeur of the festival.
And Fireworks Productions has already chalked their plans to shoot in Ahmedabad.
Yes, the team of the long-running show CID on Sony Entertainment Television will be shooting a twin episode series in Ahmedabad from 12 January 2014.
A source from the show informed us that the unit plans to cover the Kite Festival in Ahmedabad. Also, the story will be woven around the beautiful locales of the Sabarmati lake. The team also plans to shoot few sequences at the Lion Safari at the Gir National Park.
When contacted, Producer BP Singh remained unavailable for comments.
We hear that this interesting story shot in Ahmedabad will be aired on 24 and 25 January 2014.

Sunny Deol to be seen in CID as part of promotion of Singh Saab The Great
The ‘Big Man’ Sunny Deol will soon be making a special appearance in Fireworks Productions’ long-running show CID. The popular actor will be seen promoting his upcoming flick Singh Saab The Great on the sets of this Sony Entertainment Television show.
The sequence which will be shot today (12 November) will be of a jail sequence wherein Sunny Deol in his character from the movie will be held in prison. He will call for the CID team’s help to investigate the murder of his acquaintance. The CID team will go about nabbing the culprit and thus will prove Sunny’s innocence. Once Sunny will be out of jail, he will join hands with the CID team to catch the culprits.
We also hear that Ali Hassan Turabi will make his presence felt in this particular special episode.
We tried calling Ali, but could not get through to him.
This particular episode will be aired next Friday (22 November 2013).

Inspector Daya heads back to school in Sony TV's CID
Time for some school fun and action in Sony Entertainment Television’s popular show CID (Fireworks Productions). The loving inspector Daya will now be seen as a teacher on the show.
The episode will start with the introduction of a hit-man Tiger who has been hired to do a job (of kidnapping) in a very famous boarding school in the city. And then suddenly the man dies in a freak accident leaving his job undone. When the case comes to CID, they realise that whoever had hired Tiger, they will send someone else to complete the job.
Thus the team decide to send Daya (Dayanand Shetty) as an undercover Chemistry teacher to the school (remember Shah Rukh Khan in Main Hoon Na). There he will also be seen bonding with a little kid Rishabh. The young boy will be smart and inquisitive but get bullied by some seniors. Daya will help him tackle them and in turn become good friends with Rishabh.
Soon Daya will suspect a teacher at the school, Shekhar who will appear really mysterious. And then one day Rishabh will be kidnapped from the school premises. And as Daya will try to track them down, the miscreants will fire at him. Daya will get critically injured by the bullets and get hospitalized, but even in that state he will be concerned about his young friend.
As the cops try to find out the real culprit they will realise that Shekhar is also absconding from the school. So is he the real villain? And will the cops try to find out Rishabh?
We called up Dayanand who said, “It was definitely a great experience shooting for this interesting episode. I am sure the audience will love it too.”

Double identity and an attack on ACP on Sony TV's CID
The longest running show on Sony Entertainment Television, CID
(Fireworks Productions) is back with two very interesting cases this
week. The show that is packed with twists and twists will bring a very
strange case of identical identity in tonight’s episode (18 October
2013).
A man named Amay will see his friend’s wife, Avantika being chased by goons. But when he will rush to inform his friend, Kunal about it, he will be shocked to find that Avantika is at a saloon with him. Meanwhile the CID team will find dead bodies of three people in a farmhouse, an elderly woman, a man and a young woman. After their investigation, they will find out that those dead are a doctor, a nurse and a maid of an actress.
The team will then find out that an actress named Sheela is involved in the murder and to their surprise they will find out that Avantika was seen at the farmhouse. The cops will then go deep into the case and find out that Sheela had undergone a secret surgery and changed her appearance to Avantika’s.
So where is Avantika? Is she dead or alive?
And in tomorrow’s episode ACP Pradhyuman (Shivaji Satam) will get shot at a friend’s son’s birthday party. Even though he will be saved in time the team will start their search of someone daring to attack the ACP. The CID team will also be hunting for a notorious arms dealer, Vidhaan. With this unexpected attack the cops will feel it might be related to Vidhaan’s case. But soon they will find that a young man without any criminal record is behind this attack even though having no motive. Further investigation will reveal that this assassin will be arm twisted into desperately trying to kill ACP.
But who is behind all this? And why has this man agreed to kill ACP?

Talented
actress Jaanvi Sangwan who was last seen in Zee TV’s Hitler Didi will
now feature in an episodic story of Fireworks Productions long-running
show on Sony TV, CID.
The actress will play the wife of an ailing man who appears to be very close to her husband outwardly. But the fact will be that she is annoyed and upset over her husband. The lady will plot and plan to kill the husband, but will put the blame on another girl. Eventually, the story after going through its twists and turns will end in revealing the real face of the lady.
When contacted, Jaanvi told Tellychakkar.com, “Yes, I will be shooting for CID. But I am not aware of my role yet as I have not started shoot.”

Harshali Zine,
who was recently part of Star Plus’ Diya Aur Baati Hum, will be seen in
an upcoming episodic of Sony Entertainment Television’s CID.
The girl who has been part of many episodics of this popular Fireworks
Productions show earlier, feels that this particular story is special as
she got to work with most of the popular cops in the show.
Says Harshali, “In my earlier stories of CID, I had shot with Daya (Daya Shetty), Abhijeet (Aditya Srivastava) and ACP Pradhyuman (Shivaji Satam) separately. Not all of them would be seen together. However, in this story, I got to work with all of them at one go. They are so humble and down-to-earth that it is a pleasure working with them.”
On the story line that is being shot presently, the actress states, “I play a young college-going girl who is a sharp shooter. She has won many medals in college due to this ability of hers. The bad men who aim to kill ACP Pradhyuman, in fact, will use me to kill the ACP, and how the story takes shape will be very interesting.”
The story will see negative shades of Harshali to begin with, but when the ACP catches hold of her and knows that she is being blackmailed, her character will turn positive. She will go on to help the CID team in nabbing the culprits.
