With the current track in Sony Entertainment Television’s Desh Ki Beti… Nandini (Rashmi Sharma Productions) revolving around the political life of Rajveer (Rafi Malik), the story is becoming all the more interesting. And the recent attack on him by an unknown assassin has further intensified the mystery element in the show.
We hear that in the coming episodes, a mysterious call will make Nandini (Keerti Nagpure) restless. As the couple will be spending private time having dinner, an unknown caller would inform Nandini that she would have to pay five lakh rupees to know who shot her husband. He will also threaten her that if she does not pay the money, he will make sure that her husband gets killed.
Nandini, who has been brought up in a simple middle-class family, will be scared by the happenings, but Rajveer will console her and make her realise that all this is part of a politician’s life and that she should not give it so much importance. Nandini, who is all set to take an oath as the party’s president, will pretend to be worry free in front of Rajveer, but will go on to decide to get to the end of the case.
What will she actually do?
Informs a source, “As soon as Rajveer will go off to sleep, Nandini will get her jewellery and decide to give them to the caller.”
But as she will slowly move towards the door, the sound of Rajveer coughing in his sleep will catch her attention. This will once again get Nandini thinking whether her actions are right or not.
Will Nandini give away the money? Will the shooter finally get caught?
We tried reaching Keerti, but she remained unavailable for comments.
Gear up to see this track unfold.
Desh Ki Beti Nandini is a salute to woman power!

Sony TV’s new offering Desh Ki Beti Nandini, a tale of
women empowerment, is taking its toll high these days citing its unique
concept based on country's politics. As it is journey of a common
woman from the confines of her house to the top echelons of the
parliament, it has been forming a wave of social reforms among Indian
television audience. In fact, its tagline, if a woman can handle the
country the way she handles her home, is as inspiring as a patriotic
anthem.
Produced by Rashmi Telefilms, it features a supreme cast of actors like Keerti Nagpure as Nandini, Rafi Malik as Rajveer Raghuvanshi and others like Paridhi Sharma, Sujata Sehgal and Urvashi Dholakia. It will launch tonight and will air from Monday to Thursday at 9 pm on Sony TV.
Keerti, plays a wedding planner and is the sole breadwinner of her
family in the show. She is also the youngest member in her housing
society council. “It shows how a woman can strike a balance between
home and society. I am sure it will connect well with the viewers,”
said Keerti.
Talking about his role, Rafi Malik, who is making his TV debut with
this show, said he is playing as a young scion of a wealthy and
prominent political family. “Rajvir has studied abroad and wants to
pursue music. He is focused about what he wants in life,” said Rafi,
adding that, “I feel women have overtaken men, but they still don't get
the respect they deserve.”
Sujata Sehgal plays his mother, Gayatri Devi, who wants to fulfill her
deceased husband's dream of ruling the nation. She said, “I play a
powerful and strong woman, who likes everyone to be organised and
disciplined.”
Enjoy the new show viewers!
Keerti Nagpure follows Gandhism in real life!

Watching the political conspiracy that has been arousing a lot interest
among the current generation was proved with the success of Satyagraha. Now Sony TV is set to launch its new show Desh Ki Beti Nandini truly dedicated towards Indian politics and role of women in the arena. The show features Parichay fame Keerti Nagpure as Nandini with an extremely talented other star-cast. A newcomer Rafi Malik as Rajveer Raghuvanshi has been launched opposite Keerti on the show.
Talking about the concept, something unfamiliar to Indian television
audience, Keerti said she prefers to stay away from Indian politics and
politicians in real life. However, the actress on the other hand
follows Gandhism in real life. Keerti shares, “I am not at all
interested in Indian political system. Hence I always keep a hand
distance from the scenario. But I respect Gandhiji and I follow his
principles. Today (2nd October) is Gandhi Jayanti and I would love to
remember him for what he has done for our nation.”
Produced by Rashmi Telefilms, the show replaced Sanaya Irani starrer family show Chhanchhan on Sony TV.
We wish good-luck to Keerti and entire team. Hope the alien theme will impress audience to the core.
Keerti Nagpure to play Nandini, while Ravi Dubey bags a vital role in Sony's Desh Ki Beti Nandini!

Much has been said and written about Rashmi Sharma's upcoming project on Sony Entertainment Television Desh Ki Beti Nandini,
a show which puts light on political world. And now latest has that
after a national wide hunt the makers have finalized their Nandini in Keerti Nagpure, who is remembered for her sweet role in Parichay.
Earlier, names of actresses like Ankita Sharma of Amrit Manthan, Ekta Kaul of Rab Se Sohna Ishq were doing rounds in the town. However Keerti Nagpure bagged the female lead role of Nandini whereas Ravi Dubey of Saas Bina Sasural fame will essay the male lead in the show. Nandish Sandhu was earlier approached for the same but nothing materialized.
The audience will see a fresh pairing in Keerti Nagpure opposite Ravi
Dubey and we must say they seem quite appealing. Apart from these two
talented actors, the show will also see Urvashi Dholakia playing a pivotal role.
Nandini would probably take the time slot of Sanaya Irani starrer Chhanchhan on Sony TV.
