Kokila to go MISSING in Star Plus' Saathiya

It is none other than the beautiful and charming Firoza Khan, who is seen playing the super interesting role of
Kinjal in Saath Nibhana Saathiya (Star Plus).

Firoza is in a committed relationship with Delhi based lad Shakir Chaudhary. They formalized their relationship earlier this month.

The couple has been friends for more than two years. But last month when she went to Himachal Pradesh for a holiday with her cousins, the two met and fell in love.

Sharing details of her love story, Firoza said, “From the time Shakir picked us from the Delhi airport, he took it upon himself to make the trip (Himachal) a comfortable and happy one. This is when I realised that I was falling in love with this man who is completely differently from me.”
Interestingly, Shakir’s dad always wanted Firoza to marry Shakir and finally  Shakir’s mother made their relationship official.

“His parent’s actually proposed marriage and I said yes knowing well that I would be really happy with this man. Shakir’s mom instantly gifted me a ring as a token of love and made the proposal official. Everything happened during the trip,” blushed the girl.

The very popular show Saath Nibhana Saathiya on Star Plus has been presenting the best of content and drama over the last four years now. The show from the factory of Rashmi Sharma Productions has been the favourite of the masses and yesterday (23 September) it completed 1200 glorious episodes.

As earlier informed by Tellychakkar.com, the family has decided to get Ahem and Radha (Bhavini Purohit) married, after considering the fact that Ahem has been living a solitude life for years now. But fate obviously will have better plans for Ahem as he will marry his own wife and not Radha.

And it will be the smart kids in the family who will be the ones to bring the couple together. It will so happen that Jigar (Vishal Singh) and Rashi’s (Rucha Hasabnis) twins Samir and Sahar would have joined the same school where Gopi teaches and would have befriended Vidya (Gopi and Ahem’s daughter).

While talking about family and weddings, they will exchange family pictures, and this will be when they will get to know that they belong to the same family. Star Plus' Saath Nibhana Saathiya completes 1000 episodes

It’s a big day for the team of Saath Nibhana Saathiya (Rashmi Sharma Productions) as they complete 1000 episodes today (31 January 2014). And the cast is exuberating with happiness as they ring in the achievement with a huge celebration and a twist- a six year leap from next week.

Talking about his journey, the good looking Vishal Singh who plays Jigar on the show said, “It has been an amazing four year journey for me. I have given my whole jawani (youth) to this show (laughs). But honestly this show has given me everything what one would desire from this industry and this city. Fame, popularity, house and now that my family is also here, I just can’t thank the show enough.”

And currently shooting for the post leap sequences, Vishal shared, “It’s a very odd feeling to have someone call me ‘papa’ on the show. I keep telling my directors to not mention the word papa too often, as it’s really funny, but hopefully I’ll get used to it. For now we are just enjoying the moment.”

His on-screen wife Raashi played by Rucha Hasabnis was busy and just exclaimed, “It has been a superb journey and I want to thank all our fans for loving us so much.”

Devoleena, who is currently shooting in Bhopal as Gopi, could not be reached, but she put up her status on Facebook sharing her feelings, “So here the day comess...1000 episodes...wohooo..all my best wishes to the entire team of Saathiya..hip hip hurray..super happy nd proud to b a part of it..thank you all for loving nd supporting us so long...but again its just the Biginning..Long way to go…love us more...yippieeee (sic)”

And finally Mohammad Nazim who rose to popularity with his portrayal as Ahem said, “Oh it has been a wonderful journey with so many ups and down. I have learnt a lot from the show and it has been a complete fruitful experience. I had to build up my chemistry with a new actor after Gopi (Giaa Manek) got replaced), but thankfully viewers were sweet enough to accept us and give us as much love and support. The journey even though professional, has been an emotional one.”

We also called up the producer of the show, Rashmi Sharma who averred, “Honestly when we started the show, never did we imagine that it would reach this far. But as the journey started and we got connected to the fans we surely realised that this show is to stay. Creatively the show has been very satisfying and the actors, technicians and everyone included in team has really worked hard and it’s all because of them that we have come so far. Even after five years the show is running with a standard decent ratings and it’s really a great achievement for all of us.”

And when we asked about what made her go for a leap at this moment, Rashmi said, “I think it was the apt time for us to serve our loyal viewers with something new. The post leap will be all the more exciting although we have consciously retained the ‘feel’ of the show and it will thus be more fun to watch.”

Radha to kill Gopi's child Meera in Star Plus' Saathiya

A lot has been said about the impending leap of Star Plus’ Saath Nibhana Saathiya (Rashmi Sharma Productions).

And to add more drama post the jump, the creatives are leaving no stones unturned to bring in a lot of twists and turns.

As seen, the entire Modi family, which is out to visit their Kuldevi mandir, are enjoying their family time. And soon Gopi (Devoleena Bhattacharjee) will get to know that she is pregnant again. A glad Gopi will then plan to surprise her family with the news. But all her excitement and cheerfulness will be cut short when her sister Radha (Bhavini Purohit) will plan to kill her daughter Meera.

So will she manage to do so?

Sadly, yes!!!

As the family will be driving down a cliff, Radha will push Meera out of the car making it look like an accident. The shocked family will rush down to try and save the little girl. Ahem (Mohammad Nazim), Gopi and the entire family will frantically search around, but there will be no trace of Meera.

Informs a source, “The family will also go and search Meera in a nearby river but without any result.”

After this incident Koki (Rupal Patel) will be really angry and will blame Gopi for everything that happened. She will then go on to declare it to be her biggest mistake and pledge to punish Gopi for this.

What will she do now? Will the family find Meera?

Rucha Hasabnis to quit Star Plus' Saath Nibhana Saathiya?

The popular and beautiful Rucha Hasabnis who rose to fame with her portrayal of the interesting character Raashi in Star Plus’ Saath Nibhana Saathiya (Rashmi Sharma Productions) on Star Plus has decided to hang her boots in the show.
Yes, with reports of the show soon taking a leap, a source informs that the lovely girl does not wish to continue with the project any further and has started looking for other ventures.

When we called the actor she said, “No yaar, I don’t know who is spreading this rumour, it’s going great with the show so there’s no such plan as of now.”

Well, this is not for the first time that Rucha has decided to move out of the above project. Reports of her quitting appeared in media last year too, but then she decided to stay on. This time around, given Rucha’s character’s importance in the plot, the production house and the channel are still looking for a window to retain Rucha, is what we hear. Final decision is likely to be taken by next month.

Furthermore, it would also be interesting to see that if Rucha indeed quits, will a replacement come in like the character of Gopi (Devoleena Bhattacharya stepped into Giaa Maanek’s shoes) or Raashi will be phased out from the show.

The news of the show taking a long leap of around 10 to 20 years has created a stir in the young camp of actors, who, as per sources are not comfortable playing parents to young children.

Well, only time will tell whether Rucha decides to stay or part farewell to the show, but we wish the girl great success in her life.

Raashi to get back home; Radha's love affair to create chaos in Star Plus' Saathiya

The family crisis of the Modi family will finally solve with Raashi (Rucha Hasabnis) coming back home in Star Plus’ Saath Nibhana Saathiya (Rashmi Sharma Productions). After a tough battle of ego, Raashi will finally understand the importance of family and head back with the loved ones after her dengue attack.

A source informs, “Raashi who was in the fear of dying after her dengue attack will realise her mistake of coming to the chawl. And seeing the care her family showered on her, she will agree to come back home.”

As the family celebrates their reunion some trouble will be underlying their life.

Gopi’s (Devoleena Bhattacharya) sister Radha (Bhavna Purohit) who has got into a relation with a local gunda Umang and will get into a trouble because of her affair. As she will realise that the family will never accept their love, she will think about breaking off her relation with him.

But things are not easy in love, especially when a gunda is involved in it.
Umang will blackmail Radha that he will kill himself if she doesn’t agree to be with him. Armed with a pistol he will force her into agreeing to be with him.

“The girl will be lost and fearing her life she will agree to be with him. But she will decide to speak to Gopi about the same,” adds the source.

Will Gopi be able to save Radha from this trouble?

Raashi to suffer from dengue; family to have a hard time at the chawl in Star Plus' Saathiya

Star Plus’ popular show Saath Nibhana Saathiya (Rashmi Sharma Productions) has been entertaining its fans with interesting family drama. The entire Modi family has shifted to the chawl to show Raashi (Rucha Hasabnis) that they can all survive without the luxuries of their palatial home.

A source informs, “The Modi family is busy trying to convince Raashi to come back home and to let her realise that they really care for her and they have decided to stay back in the chawl with her.”

The family will face a lot of difficulty trying to manage with the lifestyle of the chawl. From sleeping without air conditioner or standing in a line to get water, the Modi family will be at a miserable state. Gopi (Devoleena Bhattacharya) on her part will try hard to normalize things for her family.

On the other hand, Raashi will get a dengue attack leaving her and the family really worried. She will be seen fearing about dying with the disease and her mother Urmila (Vandana Vithlani) will make a hue about it. The family will make her understand that the unhygienic conditions in the chawl are the cause of the illness and she should not stay here anymore.

So how will the disease has an effect on Raashi? And will that change her mind of leaving the chawl with the family?

Devoleena Bhattacharjee to celebrate Navratri with great gusto!

Bengali origin Devoleena Bhattacharjee of Saath Nibhana Saathiya fame is currently enjoying the festival season Navratri in a completely Gujarati style. She has been celebrating Navratri with great gusto. She has also ensured that some Guajarati delicacies were made, and decoration and lighting of place was done where she organised Pooja and she is enjoying the Ambe Maa's bhajans. She is performing all the rituals in true traditional way.

Expressing her excitement and love for Gujarati culture, Devoleena said, “Though I'm originally a Bengali, Durga Pooja is our biggest festival and I personally celebrate this in a typical Bengali style. Playing Gopi Bahu has made me familiar to even the Gujarati tradition and now I know almost all rituals performed during Navratri in Gujarat as well I love singing bhajans, offering Prasad and doing the garba.”

Talking about the celebration to be seen in the show, she averred, “In the show as well we have planned a huge Navratri track ahead for the viewers. The entire Modi family will be seen celebrating the festival in its true spirit amidst song, dance and food alongside an entire drama rolling out. Gopi will be seen trying to bring Rashi and Jigar back together with Ahem's support.”

This Navratri festivity will bring a huge gift for Rashi (Rucha Hasabnis) in Star Plus’ family show Saath Nibhaana Saathiya. As seen so far that the entire Modi family is enthusiastic and getting together to steer in the celebration, the Dandiya event will bring some entertaining episodes for the audience too.

In the current track, Gopi (Devoleena Bhattacharjee) and Ahem (Mohammad Nazim) are seen on a mission to get Raashi-Jigar back together. Raashi and Jigar, with wide differences in marital life, are heading towards divorce. It was seen that Ahem managed to bring Raashi and Jigar to the Dandiya event venue and now they will smart tricks to iron out differences.

In the coming episodes, Gopi and Ahem will use the dandiya competition, which is always a matter of pride for the Modi family, to reconcile the estranged couple. “Gopi will trip on her lehnga and hurt her leg, which will make the entire family worried. And since they were the only probable winners of the dandiya competition, the family will urge Jigar to participate with Raashi and bring home the trophy.”

Raashi will be tempted by Gopi, who will says the competition is a chance to win a prize and also some quick fame. But other side Ahem finds it difficult to convince Jigar. But unwillingly they both will agree and participate in the competition. If buzz goes correct, the couple will win the competition and this will help them to win family member’s extravagant love. Jaya Ojha and Sanjeev Bhatt to play Gopi's parents in Saath Nibhaana Saathiya!

Rashmi Sharma productions magnum opus Saath Nibhaana Saathiya will soon introduce Gopi’s (Devoleena Bhattacharjee) parents in the story.

To play the role of her parents, makers have roped in Jaya Ojha, who played Simar's mother in Sasural Simar Ka, to play mother and Sanjeev Bhatt, who played South Indian producer in movie Nautanki Saala, to essay father to Gopi.

The makers are still looking out for an actress to play the part of her sister. Incidentally, there was buzz that Devoleena will play a double role, both of Gopi and her sister, but there is still no clarity on that front. The story will take a new turn with the introduction of Gopi's family.

According to the sources, “Sanjeev's character is quite interesting. He holds the record of longest mustache in the show. He has vowed that he will not cut his mustache until he finds his daughter, who was lost at the Kumbh Mela when she was just one year old. As per the track, only Urmila recognises Gopi's father and she will try her best to hide the truth of the family from Gopi and her in-laws.”

Saath Nibhana Saathiya to witness Meera's dramatic re-entry!

So far it was seen that entire Modi family is concerned about Meera’s (Ahem and Gopi’s daughter) disappearance in Star Plus’ Saath Nibhana Saathiya. They have tried all possible measures to find the toddler but got failed.

Now, in the forthcoming episode, there will be some dramatic sequence coming to surprise all. According to sources, the divine powers of God will itself appear to save Meera from pernicious elements. As seen so far that Gopi (Devoleena Bhattacharjee) is a devotee of Lord Krishna, her daughter has also developed connection with Lord. She will come back home in a very interesting manner with his help. “Meera will back in a hilarious way. Goons, who are following the girl to get hold of the gold locket she possesses, will be in for a tough time dealing with her,” said an insider.

Producer Rashmi Sharma also confirms the track and said, “This track will be a very interesting journey for Meera, who will face many situations and challenges to finally unite with her family. It is a very entertaining plot, and I would want the audience to enjoy it rather letting the cat out of the bag at the moment and mar the fun.”
