We now have the news of talented actress Papiya Sengupta playing a pivotal role in the track ahead.
While Anang Desai will play the role of the businessman Mahanto, Papiya will essay the role of his second wife, in the new family to enter the show. Nigaar who will play the role of Madhurima will hate her step-mother to the core. However, Papiya’s character will be that of a pleasing and understanding wife and mother.
Papiya’s character will have two kids of her own, one grown-up son and a daughter who will be cast soon.
Shikha (Aishwarya Sakhuja) will eventually fathom the entire malicious game of her husband Sameer (Vikas Manaktala). Sameer, who is originally called Aditya Jagannath, will happen to be the ‘ghar jamaai’ in the family of Mahanto, and husband to Madhurima. The entire drama of getting married to Shikha, only to send her to the claws of death would have been planned by Aditya, in order to get a heir through Shikha.
When contacted, Papiya told us, “Yes, I have been roped in to play an important role in Main Naa Bhoolungi. I will be starting shoot from tomorrow. So I will not be able to give you any brief on what I play.”

And now with both of them having moved to Mumbai, the couple will get gripped by passion and consummate their marriage. The physical affinity will not only make Shikha believe in Sameer more, but she will also put more efforts to make the marriage work.
