Colors popular crime based show Code Red will see a very important social issue in the coming episode of the show.
Produced by Sunshine Rise Productions, the coming story will focus on the discrimination of North East Indian people. And playing the main villain will be Atul Verma, last seen in Maharana Pratap and Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya.
Shares a source, “The story will present how a Delhi Jatt will continue to harass a north east boyr when he joins his college. And once while on his harassment ploy, the boy would end up killing the boy. Post that how Kabir (Yash Sinha) manages to sort the issue will be for viewers to see.”
When we buzzed Atul on the same he said, “It was a very interesting story and I really enjoyed playing the role. Also I got to actually open up and perform like a true villain. People around me were wondering if I am actually so negative in real life also (laughs). But I must say it was super fun.”
Talking about the abuse practice, the actor quipped, “I really feel that it is a very disgusting thing. I have seen people discriminating people in accordance to their feature, language, voice etc. Minorities do face discrimination and I feel people should realise that it leaves a very bad impact on them. We are all humans and should respect and love each other equally.”
Well said Atul!!!

Code Red on Colors is all set to roll out soon. And our sources have suggested that actors Nirav Soni and Srman Jain have been roped in for the second episodic, which will be produced by Rise Sunshine Productions (not to be mistaken by Sudhir Sharma’s Sunshine Productions).
Ajay (Nirav Soni) & Sunny (Srman Jain) will be playing college going studs. They will be brats hungry to earn quick money. Thus, will put college girls into prostitution and also indulge in illegal drug activities.
But they ultimately will fall in the pit dug by them and face the law.
Hosted by Sakshi Tanwar, this is the second crime based show on Colors after Shaitaan – A Criminal
Mind (Miditech Production House)
We tried to reach Nirav & Srman but they remain unavailable.
Are you excited to watch Code Red?

Code
Red – the new promo on Colors has attracted audience all over. And the
strong and expressive voice of Sakshi Tanwar as the narrator creates
great impact.
Now what’s the show about? Is it something like Crime Patrol? Will it have realistic stories intertwined in fiction format?
The show Code Red will give a broader outlook that would deal with crime and its different components.
As for the makers, it will be a joint venture of Fremantle India, Optimystix and Shlok Entertainment, a production house helmed by three eminent people – Directors of Crime Patrol, Subramanian S. Iyer and Neeraj Naik along with prominent actor and anchor Anup Soni.
Coming to the concept, the show will have a fictional representation of the crime tales as well as the realistic side of it. It will be launched as a daily format, with six episodes being aired a week. Two episodes every week will come from Optimystix, other two from Fremantle and the next two will be from Shlok Entertainment.
Of course, as we know, Sakshi Tanwar will be the narrator of the show.
We tried calling Producer Vipul Shah, of Optimystix but did not get a revert from him.
We also tried getting a confirmation from Anupama Mandloi, Director, Fremantle India, but she was out of reach.
Also, our efforts to reach out to Anup Soni went in vain.
We could not get any confirmation from the channel spokesperson.
The series will be launched sometime in January 2015.
