TV show Vanathai Pola has been gaining a lot of popularity from the audience. As the plot revolves around a brother-sister relationship, ‘Thulasi’, the role played by actress Swetha Khelge, has been receiving overwhelming response from fans. In an unexpected turn of events, the actress announced her exit from the show. Though the reason for the actress’ exit was not known, fans took it to social media,

part of the show 'Vanathai Pola'. Thilak shared the good news with a
BTS video on his Instagram handle. Mounika will be playing the role of
Poorni and the episodes featuring her will be on air from today (May
13). According to the story, Poorni is the younger sister of Vetri
(portrayed by Thilak).

The serial is about the bond Chinrasu and his sister
Thulasi share. They lost their parents at a very young age and was
brought up by their grandmother. Chinrasu plans to get his sister
married in a joint family and searches for the perfect groom.

However, Thulasi falls in love with the Panchayat board officer, who
