- The story revolves around Jyothi, a girl from a tribal community, is passionate about her dream of winning a gold medal in Olympics. But destiny has other plans for her.
- Despite living in poverty, Jyothi is determined to fulfil her mother's wish of becoming an athlete. But soon, a great hindrance comes in her way. Jyothi recalls her promise made to Devaki and takes a firm decision. Ratnam sets his evil eye on Jyothi and makes her life miserable.
