  Actress Sampurnaa Mondal joins the cast of ‘Dhulokona’ The daily soap has scored remarkably well this week and bagged the top-most spot on TRP chart, thanks to its latest tweak in the story. The show recently welcomed Raja Goswami in a prominent role, and now actress Sampurnaa Mondal has joined the cast. She is playing Titir’s character in the story. Unlike her recent two projects, ‘Hoyto Tomar E Jonno’ and ‘Durga Durgeshwari’, Sampurnaa will be seen in a completely different avatar in ‘Dhulokona’. She will essay a modern girl and with Titir’s entry, the daily soap can expect some twists in its story which will certainly amp up the entertainment quotient. Speaking about the young actress, Sampurnaa stepped into the entertainment industry at a young age and featured in ‘Maa Durga’, ‘Goyenda Ginni’ and others. She became a household name playing Jagadamba’s character in Bengali TV’s one of the popular period-drama ‘Rani Rashmoni’. With her power-packed performance, Sampurnaa impressed the audience. Although Roshni Bhattacharyya replaced her after Sampurnaa quit the show, audiences still refer to her as Jagadamba. Later, she played the female lead in ‘Durga Durgeshwari’. She played an advocate in the recently concluded TV show ‘Hoyto Tomar E Jonno’, which initially starred Jeetu Kamal as the male lead.
• Actor Raja Goswami joins the cast of ‘Dhulokona’ Popular Bengali artist Raja Goswami’s career seems to be on the right track. Recently, his television shows ‘Khorkuto’ and ‘Ismart Jodi’ concluded their journey and Raja has bagged yet another project. Raja is playing Rishi’s character in the Manali Manisha Dey and Indrasish Roy starrer. With Rishi’s entry, audience can expect some high-voltage drama as he decides to go against his mom and help one of the victims, who is none other than Chorui.

  Team ‘Dhulokona’ off to Puri for outdoor shooting: The cast and crew of TV show ‘Dhulokona’ are busy with outdoor shooting. Actors along with the crew members have flown off to Puri, Odisha to shoot for the upcoming episodes. Actors Indrasish Roy, Manali Manisha Dey, Debottam Majumdar, Prity Biswas, Mainak Banerjee, and Ipsita Mukherjee went to Puri yesterday. The team will be shooting for some important sequences there. Despite their busy shooting schedule, the cast and crew aren’t shying away from having fun. From long adda, enjoying food together to indulging in off-screen fun moments, team ‘Dhulokona’ is making most of their current schedule.  
• The makers of ‘Dhulokona’ have some special treat for the audience to sustain the viewership. The TV show, which ruled the TRP charts for quite some time, has been lagging behind for the past few weeks. And the makers are adding all sorts of drama to retain the viewership.  
• Daily soap ‘Dhulokona’ narrates the story of protagonists Phuljhuri and Lalan, who are from the grass root level and struggle their way to realise their dreams. Phuljhuri works as domestic help.
