Veteran theatre artist Debshankar Haldar to host a non-fiction show
About the Show:
- The non-fiction show, titled ‘Apni Ki Bolen’,
will be aired on a leading Bengali television channel. It will
highlight socially relevant issues.
- ‘Apni Ki Bolen’ will provide a platform for the participants to share their problems, debate, and reach a probable solution.
- While ‘Apni Ki
Bolen’ is gearing up for its launch, a few other shows are also in the
pipeline. ‘Khukumoni Home Delivery’, ‘Basanta Bilash’, ‘Jai Jagannath’
and a few other Bengali shows will be launched soon.

Actor Debshankar Haldar, known for his versatile performances, is set to host a new television show.- Earlier, Debshankar
had hosted yet another non-fiction show which was aired on a rival
television channel. Bengali audience, who had seen Debshankar dominating
the stage and silver screen with his power-packed performances, simply
fell in love with the show ‘Happy Parents Day’.
Debshankar’s natural hosting skill, empathetic behaviour towards the
participants and show’s format, helped the show gain a huge popularity.
The second season of the show was equally popular.
- After ‘Happy Parents Day’, Debshankar wasn’t seen on the small screen much other than a few special episodes during the festive season. He was rather busy with theatre and films. Debshankar proved his acting brilliance in theatre and films. ‘Winkle Twinkle’, ‘Bratyajoner Ruddhosangeet’, ‘Mephisto’, ‘Nachni’, ‘Nagar Kirtan’ are some of his projects amid a long list of plays in which Debshankar left the viewers with his powerful acting. ‘Herbert’, ‘’Alik Sukh’, ‘Muktodhara’ are some of his films. As a host, Bengali viewers will see Debshankar yet again.
