Popular TV show 'Aruvi' completes 400 episodes; here's what actors Karthick Vasu and Jovita Livingston Jones have to say, Popular daily soap Aruvi, one of the longest-running daily soaps of the General Entertainment Channel (GEC) airing it, has accomplished yet another milestone.
- Aruvi premiered in October 2021. The
series stars Jovita Livingston Jones and Karthik Vasu in lead roles and
Ambika in a pivotal role. The serial is a remake of the Kannada
television serial Kasthuri Nivasa.
- The story is all about a strict and
strong mother-in-law Saraswasthy, who is having a motherless girl Aruvi
as her daughter-in-law. Aruvi is a cool girl, who accidentally falls for
Pugazh, Saraswathy's son. She is initially being separated from
Saraswathi and always her sister-in-law Neelaveni and her daughter
Vennila used to irritate her but later they are convinced that Aruvi is
the daughter-in-law of the house and accept her. Now, everyone in the
family is happy. Aruvi becomes pregnant but it got aborted due to her
unexpected accident, on her way to the hospital. This is somehow
revealed to everyone in the family but Pugazh (Aruvi's husband), still
thinks that Aruvi is pregnant and their baby is in her womb. Will Pugazh
get to know the truth and how he reacts forms the rest of the plot.

Vidhun aka Vidhush Chowdhry has bagged an interesting role in the newly launched TV show Aruvi. He is very much excited about his new show and shared his happiness with his fans. According to the story in Aruvi, Vidhun is seen playing Vicky's role, who is the dearest friend of Karthick Vasu. The episodes featuring him as Vicky are on air. According to the story, Vicky (Vidhun) will be an ideal friend who stands by his buddy Karthick during thick and thin. No matter what the situation is, he will extend his support to him. Kalyana Parisu fame actor Isvar Raghunathan to play an ideal son in Aruvi, Interestingly, Isvar's reel name is also Isvar in Aruvi. He will be seen as actress Ambika's eldest son. According to the storyline, Isvar is an obedient son who abides by his mom’s words. Karthick Vasu and Sam are playing Isvar's reel brothers in the show. Isvar is all excited about his new project. Isvar was last seen in the show Poove Poochoodava (as Mahendra Singh). He is known for his performances in TV shows like Thirumathi Hitler as a tribal leader, Raja Rani (as Chandhran), Devathayai Kanden (as Vasudevan), Naam Iruvar Namakku Iruvar (as Dr. Arjun) and Kalyanam Mudhal Kadhal Varai (as Eashwar). About the Show, Story:
Aruvi is a perfect mix of family drama and romance. Karthick Vasu is playing the male lead. He will play the role of a chef, who wants to move away from his parents' shadow and is eager to make a name for himself by setting up a new business. Isvar and Sam will play his reel brothers. Kannan and Ambika will essay the role of their reel parents.- On the other hand, Jovita will play the role of a happy-go-lucky girl who is a radio jockey. One day, Karthick and Jovita meet each other and what happens in their lives forms the crux of the story.
