- Raju Jeyamohan lifts the trophy and wins a prize money of Rs. 50 lakhs: Raju
Jeyamohan triumphs in Bigg Boss Season 5. In a grand gala finale on
Sunday night, Raju lifted the trophy, and walked away with a prize money
of Rs. 50 lakhs. VJ Priyanka Deshpande became the first runner up of
the season. Interestingly, Pavani Reddy was one of the three finalists
of the season. Raju, who entered the BB house as the second contestant
of the season, has succeeded in gaining enough vote bank to emerge as
the winner. Our ETimes TV’s poll also suggested t
he same, with 57% of the respondents voting for Raju as the winner.
- Bigg Boss Tamil 5 Grand Finale Highlights: With
his mimicry s****s, stand-up comedy, and funny one-liners, Raju was the
most entertaining Bigg Boss Tamil contestant of the season. Despite the
fact that he had been nominated for eviction more than five times, he
managed to survive eviction every time. While he was inside the BB
house, his fans compiled his comedy juncks and made them go viral on
social media. Though he faced little criticism for not playing the tasks
hard enough or never getting to be a captain at least once, Raju has
won everybody's support both inside and outside the BB house. In the
last task given to all the contestants to choose their favourite
housemate, Raju has won the task with a clear mandate. Apart from Pavani
accusing Raju of poking his nose into the Pavani-Abhinay relationship,
he never got involved in any ugly spat. Raju-Priyanka is the audience’s
most loved duo of the season. Though they entered the house without a
strong bond, eventually their comical rapport turned out to be the most
entertaining one.
On the career front, sources reveal that Raju is roped in for a main role in actor Sivakarthikeyan’s movie ‘Don’. He is also well known for his role as ‘Kaththi’ in the daily soap Naam Iruvar Nammaku Iruvar.
Raju Jeyamohan narrated his story as part of the ‘Oru Kadhai Sollattuma’ task in a funny manner. He thanked his parents and gurus like K. Bhagyaraj (India’s legendary actor and screenplay writer) and director Nelson. Raju said that his parents were from two different religions and had a love marriage. From the day of his parents' marriage until his youth stage, the relatives of his parents had an enmity between them. Later, he realised that arts and entertainment were the only thing uniting his relations. Hence, after completing graduation, he took up the opportunity to work with Bhagyaraj.

made his acting debut in Kana Kaanum Kalangal. Later, he acted in
shows like Andal Azhagar, Saravanan Meenatchi, Barathi Kannamma, and
Naam Iruvar Namakku Iruvar.
