About the Show:
- It’s raining new shows on Tamil television. While a lot of new shows are lined up for a launch, a new reality show is all set to entertain from Pongal.
- Titled ‘Super Queen’, the new reality show is said to be a show that features celebrated actors. Twelve famous Tamil telly world actresses compete in a series of exciting challenges designed to prove their talent and strength. The tasks are expected to challenge the contestants and unveil their real side to the viewers.
- The reality show will premiere on January 16 on a leading Tamil general entertainment channel.
Host:
- The show is hosted by RJ Vijay and RJ Anandhi. The contestants will be judged on various parameters by actor Nakul Jaidev, actress Radha and yet another judge in addition to a surprise guest from the entertainment industry.
Contestants, Participants:
The main contestants include Asha Gowda, Vaishnavi, Aishwarya, Janani, Swathi, Tejaswini, Iraa, Lavanya, Ayesha, Parvathy, Kanmani Manohar, and Sreethu Krishnan among others. All the contestants will compete for the title of ‘Super Queen’.- According to the description of the show makers, Mr. Siju Prabhakaran, South Cluster Head of the channel said, “January is not just a month for the celebration of Pongal but also marks the New Year for us. We wanted to start this year with a massive content offering to entertain our at-home audiences. With Super Queen, our purpose was to bring our talented ladies from the industry together on one platform.”
- The Telugu version of the show hosted by Pradeep Machiraju was also launched recently.
