‘Alta Phoring’, starring actress Kheyali Mondol as a talented gymnast, has completed one year of journey on Bengali TV. Team ‘Alta Phoring’ is enjoying a celebratory mood. The show, starring Kheyali Mondal as the female lead, completed a new milestone. It has completed a successful run of one year on Bengali small screen.
- It was a cosy celebration party, enjoyed by the artists, technicians and all other members associated with the show who have worked hard to make ‘Alta Phoring’ a success. Customised cake was specially brought to mark the occasion. Taking a break from the hectic shoot schedule, the team enjoyed some cheerful moments together. Actors Tulika Basu, Tuash Chatterjee, Kheyali and others enjoyed a cosy cake-cutting party on the sets.
Actress Chumki Choudhury joins the cast of ‘Alta Phoring’ Bengali daily soap ‘Alta Phoring’, starring Arnab Banerjee and Kheyali Mondal as the lead pair, had managed to strike a connection with the audience right after its launch. While the show consistently scores well in terms of TRP, makers aren’t shying away from adding frequent twists and turns to spice up the entertainment quotient further more. Recently actor Abhishek Bose joined the cast of the show and the storyline took an interesting turn with his entry. He is playing Arjun’s character in the show. Arjun saves protagonist Phoring from drowning when she jumps into the water body to save hubby Abhra. Soon after that, actress Priyanka Halder made an entry to the show as well. Now, ‘Alta Phoring’ has welcomed yet another popular artist of Tollywood. Actress Chumki Choudhury, who once entertained movie lovers on the silver screen, has joined the cast of ‘Alta Phoring’. She is playing Arjun’s mom. She will be seen essaying a deglam role in the show.Previously, the senior artist was seen in Jeetu Kamal and Sampurnaa Mondal starrer television show ‘Hoyto Tomar E Jonno’. Chumki, who is the daughter of famous director Anjan Choudhury, has been a part of many Bengali movies. ‘Abhagini’, ‘Maya Mamata’, ‘Naach Nagini Naach Re’, ‘Mejo Bou’, ‘Sangharsha’, ‘Boro Mou’, ‘Lofar’ and many others. She has paired up with most of the Bengali heroes of her time on-screen. These days, she is more active on television. She was seen essaying meaty roles in popular television shows like ‘Rangiye Diye Jao, ‘Pratidaan’ and others.

Actress Priyanka Halder joins the cast of 'Alta Phoring' TV show ‘Alta Phoring, which started its journey featuring actors Kheyali Mondal and Arnab Banerjee, in the lead roles, has glued the audience to the television screen with its simple storyline and power-packed performance by the artists. It seems makers aren’t leaving a single stone unturned to take the entertainment quotient a notch higher. Along with some recent twists, the storyline has introduced new characters to the show, following which, a number of popular artists have joined the cast. First actor Abhishek Bose joined the team in a prominent role and now actress Priyanka Halder has bagged a role in ‘Alta Phoring’ as well. She is playing Nayna’s character in ‘Alta Phoring’. With Nayna’s entry, viewers can expect some major drama to the story. And Priyanka is thrilled about her new project.She is a popular face on Bengali television and entertained the audience in different roles. She was last seen in popular mega-serial ‘Krishnakoli’, starring Neel Bhattacharya and Tiyasha Lepcha as the lead jodi. She played Papiya’s character in the popular TV-drama which turned out to be an instant hit among Bengali audience. She was paired opposite actor Koushik Bhattacharjee in 'Krishnakoli'.

TV show ‘Aalta Phoring’ to launch on January 10
Bengali television is ready to spice up its entertainment quotient. A number of TV shows are in the pipeline and ready to be launched this month. One of them is ‘Aalta Phoring’.- The daily soap will be launched on January 10.
Interestingly, the show will replace Khorkuto’s time slot.
- The Trina
Saha and Koushik Roy starrer will now be aired at a noon slot.
‘Khorkuto’, launched in 2020, isn’t living up to the expectation in
terms of TRP compared to i
ts past record.
- The show will feature Arnab Banerjee, Kheyali Mondal and Saoli Chattopadhyay in prominent roles.
- Arnab
will play the male lead in the show. He will play the role of an
employee who works in a rural area.
- Kheyali, on the other hand, is
dancer and stepped into the showbiz as the contestant of a reality show.
She was also a part of the daily soap ‘Mou Er Bari’ starring Adrija
Addy Roy and Abhishek Veer Sharma in the lead roles. Kheyali will play a
happy-go-lucky village girl named Phoring. Her life takes a drastic
turn after her village is hit by flood.
- Protagonist Phoring gets separated from her mom. Saoli will be seen essay Phoring’s reel mom due to the flood. Phoring is saved by a young guy (played by Arnab). What happens next, forms the crux of the story.

- Besides ‘Aalta Phoring’, Gourab Roy Chowdhury and Megha Daw starrer ‘Pilu’ is also gearing up for its launch along with ‘Sona Roder Gaan’. Rishi Kaushik and Payel De will essay the lead roles in ‘Sona Roder Gaan’.
