Mohammad Faiz – Winner of SuperStar Singer 2- The
15 year old talent from Rajasthan, Mohammad Faiz has been the name ever
since the show commenced. Mohammad Faiz was last seen in, Sa Re Ga Ma
Pa L’il Champs (2019), Love Me India Kid (2018)
- The kid has
been a popular name on Instagram and Youtube with over 500K and 100K
Followers on each channel respectively. The news of Mohammad Faiz coming
out as a winner speculated since an image of him holding the check and
winners trophy circulated on Social Media.

Faiz, a 14-year-old, from Jodhpur, Rajasthan, is naturally thrilled. In an exclusive interview with Bombay Times, he said, "When I was announced the winner of the show, everyone around me was crying and clapping. My mama lifted me up on stage after I was announced the winner. My father lives out of India, I spoke to him and he was very happy. Even my mother and sisters had happy tears; it made me feel good that I could make everyone around me proud."- Faiz never felt the pressure and always tried to stay calm through the past few months. He shared, "I never thought about the competition or about the finale. For me, we were all just focusing on learning and performing music, we never sang just to compete with each other. In fact, in my mind, I was competing with my own self. Each time I wanted to put up a better performance than the previous one. So I was only working on my s****s because I had to beat myself each time, rather than looking at how others were singing."
- When asked which is his favourite genre, he said, "On this show, I have sung songs from every genre - from Sufi to ghazal to romantic ones. I would like to call myself a versatile singer. As an artiste, I want to sing all kinds of songs in the future as well."

who's currently in Class IX, wants to balance singing with his studies.
He said, "Going ahead, I want to focus on my studies and also keep
getting better at singing. I want to keep doing riaz and stay connected
with the audiences."
Anil Kapoor is left teary-eyed after Super Mani’s performance, says 'aap bohot bade banoge': Superstar Singer 2 is all set to welcome the cast of Jugg Jugg Jeeyo in the coming weekend episode. In the latest promo episode of Superstar Singer 2, it is shown Anil Kapoor is left teary-eyed after watching Super Mani’s performance on stage. In the promo, the Jugg Jugg Jeeyo cast Anil Kapoor, Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani make a grand entry on the stage. Later after everyone has settled down, Super Mani performs the song Kya Hua Tera Vaada on the stage and after listening to this song Anil Kapoor becomes emotional and is seen crying in the promo.
Himesh Reshammiya, Alka Yagnik, Javed Ali to pay tribute to KK on 'Superstar Singer 2' 'Superstar Singer 2' contestant Mohammad Faiz, along with captains Pawandeep Rajan, Arunita Kanjilal, Salman Ali, Mohd Danish and Sayli Kamble will pay a heartfelt tribute to KK, singing his evergreen songs 'Alvida' and 'Pal'. Judges Alka Yagnik, Himesh Reshammiya and Javed Ali will join the performance with teary eyes. With a heavy heart, Javed Ali sings KK's iconic song 'Tadap tadap ke iss dil', post which he expresses his heartiest condolences saying: "We have not only lost an amazing artiste but an incredible human being, who will be cherished in our hearts forever. "He was an amazing soul. The innumerable songs that he has given to the generations with his pure soul can never be forgotten. The songs he sung and his contribution to Bollywood will forever be in our memories. KK we miss you!" Himesh also reminisces about his time recording with KK by singing 'Soniye' and pays his heartfelt tribute to him.
Brothers-in-law Sreesanth and Madhu Balakrishnan sing 'Yeh Kaali Kaali Aankhen' on stage: Former cricketer S Sreesanth is known for his stunning dance moves. But, did you know he is a good singer too?. Well, you heard it right, the sportsman has recently joined his brother-in-law and singer Madhu Balakrishnan for a singing performance. 'Top Singer 2', Sreesanth was seen as a celebrity judge. Besides enjoying some candid moments with the contestants, he joined Madhu Balakrishnan for a song. The duo rendered the evergreen Hindi melody 'Yeh Kaali Kaali Aankhen'. Interestingly, the dancer can be seen doing some dance moves on the stage too. Earlier, Sreesanth was seen as a guest in one of the festival episodes of 'Udan Panam 3.0'. Along with playing the game well, the former cricketer also shared some of his emotional moments on the stage. On the other hand, Sreesanth gained much attention on Hindi TV being a contestant in popular reality shows like 'Bigg Boss 12' and 'Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 9'.

- Season 1 Winner:
The show came to an end with a Super Finale that was scheduled to be held on 6 October 2019 on Sony TV, with six top finalists from which the winner was to be decided on the basis of public votes.- The winner, Prity Bhattachajee, was awarded the 'Superstar Singer Trophy', along with the cash prize of ₹15,00,000. Apart from this, all the six top contestants received an educational scholarship of ₹2,00,000 each
