Sony Mulewa replaces Samiksha Ram in 'Muddumanigalu' Young actress Sony Mulewa has bagged a new project in her kitty. The actress will be seen playing one of the lead roles in the show 'Muddumanigalu'. She has replaced actress Samiksha Ram, who was seen playing the role of the elder twin sister. Yes, Sony is the new 'Drishti' of the soap Muddumanigalu. Sony has already made her appearance in the show as Drishti. She has joined the team and is currently shooting for the upcoming episodes as well. The actress will be seen as the new Drishti in the show from now on.- Meanwhile, Samiksha called it quits for 'Muddumanigalu' owing to other commitments. Rumors are also rife that the actress will be entering the reality show Bigg Boss Kannada season 9 as one of the contestants. Hence, she has opted to quit the daily soap. However, she is being tight-lipped about it and has not yet opened up about anything so far.

Muddulakshmi narrated the story of Muddu, who is a dusky woman,
Muddumanigalu is the story of Muddu and Dhruvanth's twin daughters

begins with Muddu and Dhruvanth passing away after meeting with a
shocking accident while traveling along with their twin daughters.
Although Drishti manages to survive the accident, little did she know
that her younger twin sister, who was inside the car along with the
parents, also managed to survive with the help of a local couple. The
twin sisters get separated and their path eventually changes. However,
destiny had its own plan. The sisters reunite after many years. Shrishti
forgets her past due to the accident trauma and fails to recognise her
twin sister and grandmother after several years. Needless to say,
destiny gets them closer as the two sisters get married to the brothers
of the same family.

Chandana has bagged a pivotal role in the daily soap 'Muddumanigalu'. The actress will be seen in the upcoming episodes of the daily soap. She has already shot for her scenes in the show. Chandana's entry as 'Shristhi' in 'Muddumanigalu' will introduce a shocking twist in the storyline. Shrishti is the lost girl child of Chiranth and Muddu. Although her real identity will be hidden in the storyline, she makes the family members believe that she is the real Shrishti.- On the other hand, the family members are unaware that Bhoomi is the real Shrishti.
