A new Marathi show is all set to entertain the viewers. The upcoming show ‘Maajhi Maanasa' is going to entertain viewers from May 30.- 'Maajhi Maanasa' has a backdrop of the Kokan region, the
most picturesque park in Maharashtra, which is going to bloom as days go
by, just the way nature blooms in Kokan.
- It
is the story of Girija, who is the pillar of her family. After the sad
demise of her father, Girija, who works as a head nurse in a hospital,
becomes the only breadwinner of her family of eight.
- Girija
prioritizes her family member’s well-being over her dreams. She takes
care of every expense of the household, be it expenses for her sibling’s
education or daily household needs.
- This
journey has many obstacles. Girija always looks at her family as a
source of strength that helps her overcome all the obstacles. However,
do these people care for her as much as she does for them?
- The story revolves around this poignant question and tries to find the answer to it.
Star Cast:
- Girija will be played by actress Janaki Pathak. Marathi film 'Zombivali' fame Janaki is going to make her debut on television with this serial.
- Actress Smita Sarvade will be playing Girija's mother,
- Popular name of the Marathi television including Digambar Naik will be seen in a negative role as Girija’s Uncle.
- This show will also have Sainkeet Kamat, Aarti More,
- Bhumija Patil, Vijay Patil, Sakshi Mahajan, Rohan Pednekar, and Sonam Mhasvekar playing a few important characters.
