The show's makers announced that the serial is expected to launch by next month (June).- Earlier, the makers released the teaser for the show and partially revealed the title of the show. In an exclusive conversation with ETimes TV, the actress said, "After quitting Bharathi Kannamma, I kept coming across a lot of roles, where the female lead keeps crying and grumpy. But when I heard about ‘Amudha’, it had all the emotions I was looking for: sentiment, romance, and a funny side, but all in a balanced mix, which made me opt in."

- Now, it is officially announced that the show will be launched next month (June) on the popular TV channel which aired popular TV shows like Gokulathil Seethai and Super Queen. The complete title of the show and the details of the rest of the cast are yet to be revealed.
