About the Awards:
- Tele Academy Awards 2022, an initiative by the Government of West Bengal
to felicitate the outstanding work by the cast, crew, and technicians
from the Bengali television fraternity, witnessed a spectacular evening.
- Just like the previous years, some of the finest artists of small
screen industry were honoured at the event.
- The grand award ceremony graced by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee
along with other dignitaries, which was originally held in March at
Netaji Indoor Stadium, will now be aired on a prime television channel
this weekend.
- The prestigious award ceremony will be aired this weekend by a leading channel which also airs hit TV shows like ‘Gaatchora’, ‘Dhulokona’.
‘Dadagiri Unlimited’ host Sourav Ganguly,- Ushasie Chakraborty, Indrani Halder, Tota Roy Chowdhury, Sean Banerjee and many other won different awards under different categories.
Host, Crew:
- Senior artists Indrani Halder and Saheb Chatterjee co-hosted the award show.
- Director, producer-turned-politician Raj Chakraborty
played a vital role in arranging the cultural event.
- Lopamudra Mitra,
Jeet Ganguly, Babul Supriyo, Palak Muchhal and many other eminent music
personalities performed at the event.
- Stars from television, including Gourab Chatterjee-Solanki Roy, Sean-Srijla Guha, Dibyojyoti Dutta, Abhishek Bose, Sohini Guha Roy, Manali Manisha Dey set the stage on fire with their dance performances.
