soap ‘Madhabilata’, which left the viewers in complete awe with its
very first promo and cinematic effect, will feature an ensemble cast.
- For ‘Madhabilata’, the makers have conceptualised his
look as a classic villain. With a big ‘tilak’ on the forehead, thick
chain on the neck, gold bracelet, moustache and sun-glass; Kushal will
sport an interesting look in the upcoming show which will remind you of a
classic villain in Indian films. The actor is currently busy with the
shooting. The cast and crew have been shooting in the rural parts of
Purulia.
- Starring Sushmit Mukherjee and Shrabani Bhunia as the lead
- ‘Madhabilata’ will feature some of the senior most artists like Mousumi Saha, Kushal Chakraborty and others.
Kushal, who played Mukul’s character in Satyajit Ray’s ‘Sonar Kella’, will be seen playing an interesting character in the upcoming TV drama. He will essay the role of a successful businessman who can go to any extent for his benefit. He is involved in many illegal activities including destroying the greenery in the rural area. After a long time, the senior artist will be seen playing a villain. Kushal essayed a villain in ‘Jorowar Jhumko’ several years back.- Interestingly, Kushal and Sushmit will portray the role of father-son duo in this television serial too. Earlier, in Sushmit’s debut show ‘Boron’, Kushal played his reel dad.

Rong will also be a part of the upcoming show. While Chandni will play
protagonist Madhabi’s sister Malati, Sandy will essay yet another meaty
role in the show.
