- Dubbed TV show 'Manemagalu' to premiere today; details inside: A number of daily soaps are being dubbed into the Kannada language these days. Kannada television is currently airing many dubbed shows including Radha Krishna, Mahanayaka B R Ambedkar, Trinayani, Nagabhairavi, Krishna Tulasi, and many more. Adding one more to the list, Telugu daily soap ' Intigittu' is also going to be dubbed into Kannada.
- The show will be aired as 'Manemagalu' in Kannada and is all set to premiere today (August 1) on a leading Kannada general entertainment channel that airs shows like Gattimela, Sathya, Puttakkana Makkalu, and many others. According to the latest reports, Manemagalu will air at the noon slot. Interestingly, the Telugu show initially had Kannada actor Rohit Rangaswamy, who used to essay the lead characters in the daily show. He essayed the character 'Shourya' in the show. However, he bid adieu to the daily soap mid-way. Later, it was yet another Kannada actor Shishir Shastry who stepped into Rohit's shoes as Shourya. The daily soap also has actress Nisarga Gowda as the female protagonist.
- The story of Manemagalu is all about Kalyani, a teenager, who loses her cherished mother Madhuri and is compelled to live with her step-mother Anupama. How they develop a deep and unconventional bond beyond the ties of blood, forms the storyline.
