Kannada serial Maryadi Rama - New Star Cast, New Story, Latest Update

Jeevitha Vashishta on playing Aishwarya in Maryadi Ramanna: I was scared viewers wouldn't accept me as a modern young woman after Goddess Parvathi

Jeevitha Vashishta on playing Aishwarya in Maryadi Ramanna: I was scared viewers wouldn't accept me as a modern young woman after Goddess Parvathi
Jeevitha Vashishta, who was last seen as Goddess Parvathi in her devotional television show is now seen as Aishwarya in the Kannada serial Maryadi Ramanna. The transition has been one of the most important milestones in the actress’s career as it has allowed her to show a whole new side of her performance,’ said the actress in an interview with ETimes.
Jeevitha says that she is enjoying the transition from playing a divine character to a contemporary young woman.
"For me, the transition from playing Parvathi to taking up Aishwarya's role has been a smooth one on all counts. It has given me a unique opportunity to show a different side of me on screen and it has challenged me as an actor,” she says.

She continues to say that she found it easier than she imagined to step into the new role.

"Once I got Aishwarya's personality, I merged easily into her character," she says.
"I didn't have to do a lot of outside changes, because I concentrated on understanding how she felt and her point of view. It is not given to every artist, early in her career, to draw two characters so opposed in the beginning. I’m grateful for the opportunity to have been offered this role while I was still shooting my previous show,” she says.

But Jeevitha says she worried how the public would react to such a dramatic shift.

“I was really scared,” she says. "The audience loved me as Parvathi and many of them connected with the character. Hence, I was not sure if they would accept me in this avatar when I suddenly took the form of a modern girl. I had my reservations,” she admits.

However, the actress is happy with the audience response for the serial and her character.

"The love for Aishwarya has been overwhelming. It's always nice when people like what you do when you try something so different from what you've done before. I am also happy to see that Maryadi Ramanna is building a good rapport with the audience," she says.

Jeevitha feels that Aishwarya has given her a lot more creative liberty than her previous role.

“Aishwarya is a character with so many layers,” she says. "She is subject to all emotions, including happiness, anger, sadness, and love, and responds in accordance with the circumstances. In playing her I have been allowed to explore a much larger range of emotion. Playing a goddess comes with certain restrictions on my expressions and look,” she explains, “but this role gives me an opportunity to experiment with my performance, and even my style.”

The actress has opened up about her personality being quite different to her on-screen characters. She says, 'I am a fun-loving and cheerful person in real life. I love to make people smile and laugh. But she says, "I do get angry sometimes, especially if something really gets on my nerves." She laughs.

“I am thankful for the strides made in juggling my professional and personal lives,” says Jeevitha.

"I am currently effectively managing my professional life. I like this phase of learning and developing as an actor because each project offers me something new. I just want to continue doing things that challenge me and allow me to grow as a person,” she concludes.

"I am grateful to Colors Kannada for giving me this opportunity and thankful to all the viewers who loved me and appreciated my character," she said.

Bigg Boss Kannada 13 buzz grows as viral Kichcha Sudeep video floods social media
The excitement surrounding Bigg Boss Kannada Season 13 has reached a new high after a viral social media video claimed that the much-awaited reality show would begin in just 143 days. However, the promo that has been widely circulated online has now been identified as an AI-generated fake. Bigg Boss Kannada, one of the most popular reality shows on Kannada television, has completed 12 successful seasons and continues to enjoy a massive fan base. From heated arguments and emotional breakdowns to controversies and unexpected friendships, the show has consistently kept audiences hooked. Ever since the conclusion of Season 12, viewers have been eagerly waiting for updates about the next edition.

The anticipation became even stronger after Kichcha Sudeep confirmed his return as the host. Earlier, the actor had shocked fans by announcing that he would step away from the show after Season 11. However, he later revealed that he had agreed to continue for four more seasons, much to the delight of viewers.
Amid this excitement, an Instagram page named “bbkseason13” recently shared a video claiming that Bigg Boss Kannada Season 13 would premiere after 143 days. The clip features what appears to be Sudeep introducing “new contestants” and “new games” while hinting that the upcoming season would once again be packed with “fire, madness and hidden anger.”

The promo looked convincingly real at first glance, leading many fans to believe it was an official announcement. However, it was later discovered that the video had been created using Artificial Intelligence. The fake promo appears to have been designed purely to attract attention and gain views by taking advantage of the growing hype around the reality show.

To make the content appear more authentic, the creators even used the name “Colors Super” for the profile. Interestingly, the comment section on the post was disabled, possibly to avoid criticism and prevent viewers from exposing the video as fake.

Despite being AI-generated, the clip managed to fool several social media users, once again highlighting how advanced AI-created content has become. The incident also reflects the enormous craze for Bigg Boss Kannada, with fans eagerly waiting for every small update related to the show.

Bigg Boss Malayalam 8 to premiere in September?

Bigg Boss Malayalam 8 to premiere in September?
Bigg Boss Malayalam fans are eagerly awaiting an update from the makers of the new season. The superstar Mohanlal-hosted show is round the corner, and fans have now got their first hint about it.

The social media buzz kickstarted after the makers shared a poster online inviting applications for various crew positions. The post mentioned openings for producers, creative writers, and other production-related roles, immediately catching the attention of fans. Soon after the post was shared, discussions about the possible launch date also began online. Though there are speculations that the show might launch in August, our sources in the industry hint that viewers may have to wait a little longer, as the show is expected to premiere only in September.

According to industry insiders, the channel airing the show is presently focused on wrapping up the latest season of Star Singer, which is nearing its grand finale. The reality singing competition has been one of the major weekend attractions for the channel and is expected to continue for at least two more months. Notably, Star Singer previously had a break in the season due to the launch of Bigg Boss Malayalam 7, after which the show resumed once Bigg Boss concluded.

Along with Star Singer, the channel has also recently launched the comedy-cookery reality show Comedy Cooks, which has already started gaining audience attention. Sources indicate that the show is expected to continue for at least another two months. Since two reality shows are already occupying the slot, viewers may have to wait a little longer for Bigg Boss Malayalam to return.

However, there is another happy update for viewers to rejoice over, as host Mohanlal had earlier confirmed that he would be returning to host the show this season as well. During an event, the actor shared that he had renewed his contract with the makers for another three years.

Bigg Boss Malayalam 7 concluded after declaring TV actress Anumol as the winner. While Aneesh emerged as the runner-up, the third place was secured by Nevin.
