Subhashree Ganguly’s debut OTT project ‘Indubala Bhater Hotel’, Film actress Subhashree Ganguly, who had a successful stint on Bengali TV after casting a spell on the silver screen, is ready to entertain the audience yet again in a brand new avatar. She will be seen playing an elderly woman in her debut OTT project ‘Índubala Bhater Hotel’, based on author Kallol Lahiri’s novel with the same title. The OTT project is all set to stream soon on a leading digital platform which has an interesting line up including ‘Karagar 2’, starring Kallol Chowdhury.- Subhashree
walked out of her comfort zone and worked hard to look convincing as
Indubala, a lady who is originally from Bangladesh and came to Kolkata
with her husband before partition. The original story takes the readers
through a nostalgic trip to one’s original root. While food plays a
vital role in the story that narrates widowed Indubala’s journey from a
young girl who spent her childhood in Bangladesh prior to partition,
difficult married life, and her role while running the pice hotel.

play protagonist Indubala, Subhashree had to undergo a massive
transformation. The very first glimpse of her as Indubala, left all her
fans surprised. Subhashree looks unrecognisable as an octogenarian. The
web project is directed by Debaloy Bhattacharya, who had directed Sourav
Das starrer ‘Mon2 Pilot’, ‘Pobitro Puppies’, ‘Bou Keno Psycho’. He has
also directed movies ‘Dracula Sir’, ‘Biday Byomkesh’ among others.

the first look of the project managed to tickle the curiosity level of
the audience, it will be worth a wait to see viewers’ reaction once the
web series starts streaming.

- Bengali actress Subhashree Ganguly, who managed to cast her spell on the silver screen, followed by a successful stint in reality TV as a judge, is ready to explore her horizon further more. The actress is ready for her OTT debut. The actress who has tasted success in commercial movies and pushed her envelope by playing versatile roles in films like ‘Dharmajuddha’ and ‘Bismillah’, is ready to surprise the audience with her first web project too. She will essay the role of an elderly lady. The actress looks completely unrecognisable in the Indubala Bhater Hotel’s poster. With the help of prosthetics and make-up, Subhashree has been transformed to an elderly lady and looks quite convincing.
- Subhashree is all excited about her first web project which will soon stream on a leading Bengali OTT platform. She is currently busy with the promotion of her upcoming flick ‘Boudi Canteen’, which will feature her in a different role yet again. Actor Parambrata Chattopadhyay has teamed up with her for this movie. Subhashree earned praises for her previous release ‘Habji Gabji’, directed by Raj Chakraborty as well. Meanwhile, a few other promising projects are also ready to stream on different platforms including late Soumitra Chattopadhyay’s ‘Ananda Ashram’, which has an ensemble cast and Sandipta Sen-Ditipriya Roy starrer ‘Bodhon’.
