- Delhi’s Ramlila, touted to be one of the most-awaited and grandest cultural events of 2022, will see Jaipur actor Nirbhay Wadhwa, enact the role of Hanuman.
- Delhi’s Ramlila, the most-awaited
event of the year, will be a star-studded affair with telly actors
enacting the iconic characters of Ramayana. We earlier reported that
Raghav Tiwari will play Lord Ram.
- Now
we have got to know that Nirbhay Wadhwa, who has played Hanuman in
several TV shows, will be seen enacting the role of Lord Hanuman at the
Red Fort Grounds, one of the oldest Ramlilas in the capital.

“It’s no less than a blessing to play the role in different shows on
Indian television. And now once again at the Delhi Ramlila, which will
be witnessed by lakhs of people.”
- Nirbhay has played the character in TV
shows like Sankat Mochan Mahabali Hanuman, Karmaphal Daata Shani and
Vighnaharta Ganesh. As far as Ramlila is concerned, this is the second
time that he will play Hanuman. “I first played Hanumanji in Delhi
Ramlila in 2019. When you say the dialogues and see faith in the eyes of
the public, sitting right in front of you, that experience is just
amazing. I feel so connected with the audience. I was also very
surprised when some Hanuman devotees touched my feet after the Ramlila.
They knew that I was just an actor, but it’s their faith in God that
made them treat me like that.”
- Currently shooting for a Bollywood
film, Nirbhay will be on a break for Delhi Ramlila. He shares, “My
entry in the Ramlila will be shown from September 30th onwards so I have
taken a break from the movie shoot till it culminates on October 5th.”
