Roopesh's family members had sent him the award he received at the latest Coastal Filmfare award night. They sent him the 'best actor' award for his Tulu language movie 'Girgitt'.     Actor-RJ Roopesh Shetty was punished for breaking glass inside the Bigg Boss house. As part of the punishment, Roopesh was asked to consume any liquid products only using the tiny glass sent exclusively to him by Bigg Boss. The punishment came as a surprise to Roopesh Shetty as he did not expect it from Bigg Boss. The other housemates laughed at him for being punished with a small glass. Roopesh showed it to all the housemates. He was often seen holding the tiny glass in his hands to drink water.

    Having spent an ample amount of time with his father inside the Bigg Boss house, Rupesh Shetty hugged his daddy dearest just before he could exit the house through the confession room. He gave his regards to his daddy dearest and also took his blessings. Having bid an emotional adieu to his father, Rupesh Shetty jostled around the Bigg Boss house and revealed to his housemates that it was the first time he hugged his father in his life so far. He lauded his father and said, "I love you Appa, I love you, I love you (sic)”

    This incident happened when Roopesh and Saniya were having a conversation with Aryavardhan inside the captain's bedroom. In fact, they were seen sleeping on the captain's bed together while discussing the captaincy task. This incident grabbed the attention of host Kiccha Sudeep, which he discussed during the weekend episode. Speaking about the importance of the captain's bedroom, host Kiccha Sudeep slammed Rupesh Shetty and Saniya Iyer for treating it as a picnic spot.
    Adding to it, the host said, "There is a dignity to the captain's bedroom. It is not a picnic spot. There are many contestants who have bonded well inside the Bigg Boss house and are also sharing a great bond in their real life. But, it is important to know where we are right now. Here, a hug is never a problem. If it was that, there would be an objection very long back. What matters here is the behaviour. Your body language inside the captain's bedroom was not acceptable. We have seen a lot of relationships growing inside the Bigg Boss house but none of them till now had crossed the line. Do not cross the limits (sic)"
