- A known name in Hindi and Marathi television, Akshay Kelkar shot to fame with his character Abhishek Gokhale in the famous television series Bakharwadi. Born in a small district in Kalwa near Thane, Akshay completed commercial art from LS Raheja School of Art, Worli. Since childhood, he always wanted to be a part of the film industry.
He started his journey with the Marathi Television show Be Dune Daha in 2014. He played the role of Kabir in the TV series. He made his presence felt with numerous notable performances in Marathi films like Madhuri, Premasathi and College Cafe to name a few.
