- Celebration of Bijoya, which starts after Bisarjan (immersion of the idol), is more than a custom. It brings loved ones together, where kids seek blessings from their elders, enjoy a warm hug and savour traditional delicacies. It brings back smiles to the faces that had faded while bidding adieu to Maa Durga.

To make the occasion more colourful, almost every channel has lined up special offerings. ‘Rannaghar’, ‘Didi No. 1’, ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’, ‘Dance Dance Junior Season 3’ and other shows have Bijoya special episodes to light up the festive mood yet again.- Bijoya isn’t complete without long adda, song, dance and misti mukh. Keeping that in mind, the leading TV channel, which airs shows like ‘Mithai’, ‘Jagaddhatri’ and others, airs a special TV program every year. And this time isn’t an exception. The stage is ready to air ‘Bijoya Boithak’, which will be a star-studded gala affair.
