While sharing the reason for it, Manya revealed that she was rejected due to her skin tone and other factors. She didn't have work for two years after the pageant. She shared, "Logon ko lagta hai Miss India bannane ke baad zindagi badal jaati hai, par aisa nahi hota mera paas koi kaam nahi tha do saal tak.
