She bagged Raj Chakraborty produced period-drama ‘Kopalkundala’, starring Sounak Ray as the male lead soon after ‘Deepabolir Saatkahon’. Then, the actress was roped in for Susanta Das produced ‘Krishnakoli’, one of the most popular shows of recent time which has been remade in many other languages. Soume played protagonist Shyama-Nikhil’s daughter Krishna. The show made her more popular. Soon after the project ended, Soume bagged TV show ‘Uron Tubri’.
