Actress Anamika Chakraborty needs no introduction. The reboot of all-time favourite show on Bengali television, ‘Ekhane Akash Neel’, made Anamika one of the most sought-after actresses almost overnight. Anamika and Sean Banerjee’s sizzling chemistry was certainly the USP of the show which made it immensely popular among the viewers.- Bengali beauty has bagged a new show. She will soon be seen in the upcoming television drama ‘Phaguner Mohona’ playing a prominent role. The show will feature ‘Gramer Rani Binapani’ fame actress Annmary Tom playing the female lead while Sidharth Sen as the male lead. Sidharth will play a film star who enjoys a huge fan base. Annmary Tom will yet again essay a village belle, who worships hero Ayush and goes to the city in order to meet him. Anamika will be seen playing the role of a modern girl and sporting a glamorous look in the soon-to-be launched show and her character has interesting shades as well.
- After ‘Ekhane Akash Neel’, a romantic drama revolving around two young doctors and their journey went off-air resulting into a huge uproar among fans, Anamika appeared on a few television shows including ‘Mahapeeth Tarapeeth’, and recently concluded daily soap ‘Uron Tubri’. Interestingly, Anamika didn’t shy away from experimenting and essayed reel characters with different shades. She played a grey character in the show starring Sohini Banerjee and Swastik Ghosh as the lead pair. Besides this, Anamika acted in the movie ‘Iskaboner Bibi’ besides doing OTT projects and modelling projects.
